The present disclosure provides a replaceable pin system for an in-vehicle component. The replaceable pin system including a holding member, a pin member. The pin member includes a body, a protruding portion, and a first engaging portion. The holding member includes a base, a retainer, and a second engaging portion. The retainer is spaced away from the base in the protruding direction to define a rotation space together with the base. The two ends are interposed between the retainer and the base when the body is rotated to the second orientation. The second engaging portion is formed in the holding member at a position where the first engaging portion is positioned when the body is rotated to the second orientation, whereby the first engaging portion engages with the second engaging portion when the body is at the second orientation.

Replaceable pin system for in-vehicle component

A chamber for absorbing condensate formed in a charge-air-cooler of a turbocharged engine system. The chamber may include desiccant to absorb the moisture. The chamber may also include a valve that is controlled by the vehicle control module to open to allow airflow to pass by the desiccant and absorb the moisture from the desiccant or to place in a closed position to allow the desiccant to absorb the condensate formed in the charge-air-cooler.

Charge air cooler

A connecting device is used in combination with a heat exchanger. The heat exchanger has orthogonally oriented first and second mount members. The connecting device includes a body having opposed first and second sidewalls. A first sidewall extension is integrally connected to and extends orthogonally with respect to the first sidewall, and includes a first planar mount surface. A second sidewall extension is integrally connected to and extends orthogonally with respect to the second sidewall. The second sidewall extension is oppositely facing with respect to the first sidewall extension and includes a second planar mount surface. A mounting wall extension is integrally connected to and extends orthogonally with respect to the first and second sidewall extensions and includes a third planar mount surface. The first, second and third planar mount surfaces are oriented coplanar with respect to each other and are connected to the first mount member using brazing joints.
