A gaming machine cabinet for a mechanical reel based gaming machine is provided. A plurality of reel devices, each including a mechanical reel and a basket, provides fast and easy installation of the mechanical reels in the gaming machine cabinet. The reel devices are mounted to a self-adjusting sled. The gaming machine cabinet includes a belly door that is coupled to the gaming machine cabinet and provides closed, intermediate, and fully open positions for the belly door.

A troche mold assembly includes a cover defining a receiving area and a tray removably positioned in the receiving area. The tray includes a frame having a top side and a bottom side opposite from the top side. The frame defines a plurality of cells, and each cell is configured to receive a medicament. The tray also includes a plurality of buttons. Each button is within a corresponding cell and is between the top side and the bottom side of the frame. In some aspects, wherein each button includes a center portion, a first hinge line adjacent to the cell wall, and a second hinge line between the first hinge line and the center portion. In various aspects, the cover includes a locating rib, and the tray is removably positioned within the receiving area such that the locating rib contacts the top side of the frame.

A gaming machine includes a video display mounting configuration, such as for mounting a secondary video display to a base cabinet having a first or primary video display. The mounting comprises connectors on a display frame which drop into mounts of a display support. The mounting may include a locking mechanism. An alignment configuration is also provided, such as for aligning different gaming machine components such as two video displays and/or light rings, trim or the like, relative to one another in three dimensions.

A gaming machine is provided with easily installable and serviceable components. The gaming machine includes a gaming cabinet having a main door and a lower door. A lock assembly is attached to the gaming cabinet. The lock assembly has a lock support with front panel, a first side panel, and a second side panel. At least gaming machine access control device is disposed in the front panel of the lock support, and a flange is disposed on the first side panel to connect with a mount on the gaming cabinet. A hinge pin extends through the second side panel of the lock support about which the lock assembly rotates when the main door of the gaming cabinet is open. A subwoofer is slidably mounted to a platform in the gaming machine and is secured in place with a locking element via a single fastener.

Various aspects described or referenced herein are directed to different methods and systems for facilitating secure access to various components of electronic wager-based gaming devices such as video slot machines, video poker machines, and other types of wager-based gaming machines. One aspect disclosed herein is directed to an improved button panel assembly design which enables a button panel to be attached/detached to/from the gaming machine cabinet in a manner which does not require the opening of the main access door, and in a manner which does not require access to the interior of the gaming machine cabinet. Another aspect is directed to an improved button panel security system.
