A display device includes a display panel that includes a first light emitting region and a second light emitting region, each of which emits first color. A first partition wall is disposed on the display panel, which allows the first color light to be transmitted therethrough, and which has a first opening defined therein and that corresponds to the first light emitting region. A first light conversion pattern is disposed inside the first opening and converts the first color light into second color light having different color. A reflection pattern is disposed corresponding to an outer surface of the first partition wall and a top surface of the first partition. An organic material pattern is disposed on the top surface of the first partition wall and overlaps the reflection pattern. A first color filter is disposed on the first light conversion pattern and allows the second color light to be transmitted therethrough.

A system-on-chip includes a nonvolatile memory configured to load a first image received from external storage and a first signature verification algorithm; at least one processor configured to control the nonvolatile memory such that first verifications are performed on the first image; a volatile memory; and a one-time programmable (OTP) memory configured to program a programmed hash value of a second signature verification algorithm different from the first signature verification algorithm. Electronic device including SoC which includes secure processor performing user authentication based on authentication data received from user, and nonvolatile memory device storing first event count is disclosed. The secure processor includes volatile memory that stores failure count increasing as the user authentication fails and being reset as the user authentication succeeds, security module that restricts the user authentication of the user during first time period when the failure count reaches first threshold value, and OTP memory that stores second event count increasing as throttle level corresponding to the failure count changes. When the user authentication succeeds and when power-off request for the system on chip is generated, the first event count is updated based on the second event count. When the secure processor is powered on after the SoC is powered on, the security module compares the first and second event count to determine whether sudden power-off occurs.

The at least one software image includes at least one program image and a keychain image associated with the at least one software image, the keychain image including at least one soft key. The present disclosure relates to an electronic device, such as a system on chip, that may perform firmware updates based on user consent. The system on chip includes a nonvolatile memory (NVM), a main processor, a security NVM, and a security processor. The nonvolatile memory (NVM) stores first firmware and a user permission indicator. The main processor Loads the first firmware to boot a security processor. The security NVM contains first version information. The security processor compares version information of the first firmware to the first version information based on the user permission indicator and executes the first firmware in response to the matching of the comparison result.
