The present invention relates to a graft copolymer, a method for preparing the same and a thermoplastic resin composition comprising the same. The graft copolymer of the present invention comprises a composite rubber polymer (A-1) having an average particle diameter of 250-600 nm prepared by particle enlargement after mixing a diene rubber polymer (a-1) latex having an average particle diameter of 50-150 nm and a core-shell structured, cross-linked alkyl acrylate rubber polymer (b-1) latex having an average particle diameter of 50-250 nm. A thermoplastic resin composition prepared by mixing the graft copolymer of the present invention with a hard matrix (B) has very superior weathering resistance and superior pigmentation property, gloss, impact resistance and low-temperature impact strength.

Graft copolymer, method for preparing the same and thermoplastic resin composition containing the same

The present invention relates to a method for preparing a graft rubber latex having a low residual monomer content, and more precisely, a method for preparing a graft rubber latex having a high rubber content, which is characterized by graft-copolymerization of a mixture of a rubber latex having a gel content of at least 95% and an average particle diameter of 2,500&#x2dc;5000 &#x212b;, a monomer mixture comprising one or more compounds selected from a group consisting of aromatic vinyl compound, vinyl cyan compound and acrylate compound, and small particle size latex produced by emulsion polymerization. The method of the present invention has the advantages of speedy processes with excellent latex stability and at the same time reducing residual monomer content in the latex upon completion of the polymerization, improving perceived quality of the product and increasing yield.

Method for preparing graft rubber latex having low residual monomer content

The present invention relates to a method for preparing a high molecular weight latex resin powder, and more precisely, a method for preparing a high molecular weight latex resin powder which comprises the steps of preparing a slurry by coagulating a high molecular weight latex; stabilizing the slurry; and aging the stabilized slurry, and is characterized by the direct addition of a colloidal modifier to the high molecular weight latex reactant during the preparation of the slurry. According to the present invention, the high molecular weight latex resin powder prepared by the method of the present invention has excellent particle size distribution, apparent specific gravity, caking property and thermo-stability, even with high solid content, compared with the conventional slow coagulation, and at the same time the method has an advantage of reducing energy costs and waste water generation.

Method for preparing high molecule latex resin powder

The present invention relates to a transparent thermoplastic resin composition which characteristically contains A) 20-80 weight % of graft copolymer composed of a) conjugated diene rubber latex; b) intermediate layer prepared by copolymerization of acrylic acid alkylester derivative and aromatic vinyl derivative with the above a); and c) graft layer prepared by copolymerization of methacrylic acid alkylester derivative or acrylic acid alkylester derivative, a romatic vinyl derivative and vinyl cyan derivative with the above b) and B) 20-80 weight % of MSAN copolymer prepared by copolymerization of methacrylic acid alkylester derivative or acrylic acid alkylester derivative, aromatic vinyl derivative and vinyl cyan derivative. The transparent thermoplastic resin composition of the present invention has enhanced transparency, impact strength, surface gloss, weather resistance and color by being prepared by the method of the invention which is characterized by the steps of forming an intermediate layer by adding acrylic rubber to polybutadiene rubber, grafting, and regulating refractive indices of each monomers of a copolymer.

Transparent thermoplastic resin compositions and process for preparing the same

The present invention relates to a thermoplastic resin composition, more precisely, a thermoplastic resin composition with enhanced impact resistance, gloss, weather resistance and scratch resistance, compared with the conventional thermoplastic resin compositions, by containing an acrylate-styrene-acrylonitrile (ASA) graft copolymer, an aromatic vinyl compound and vinyl cyan compound copolymer, an alkyl methacrylate/aromatic vinyl compound/vinyl cyan compound terpolymer and a di-block copolymer (aromatic vinyl compound/vinyl cyan compound&#x2014;alkyl methacrylate/aromatic vinyl compound/vinyl cyan compound).
