Disclosed is a graft monomer composition for thermoplastic transparent resins, a composition for thermoplastic transparent resins using the same and a thermoplastic transparent resin that exhibits superior transparency and color at low rubber contents. According to the graft monomer composition, the composition for thermoplastic transparent resins and the thermoplastic transparent resin, although the content of rubber in final products increases or the content of rubber in graft copolymers in the preparation of final products increases, the copolymer surrounds the surface of rubber well, thus reducing haze, considerably improving transparency and exhibiting excellent natural color.

Disclosed is a method for preparing a thermoplastic resin with superior impact resistance, chemical resistance and processability as well as excellent gloss and whiteness. The method includes emulsion-polymerizing a conjugated diene compound monomer to prepare a rubber latex having an average particle diameter of 1,800 &#x212b; to 5,000 &#x212b;, a polymerization conversion ratio of at least 90% and a swelling index of 12 to 40, an average gel content of 70 to 95%, emulsion-polymerizing 45 to 75 parts by weight of the rubber latex with 17 to 40 parts by weight of an aromatic vinyl compound and 4 to 20 parts by weight of a vinyl cyanide compound to prepare a graft copolymer latex, and coagulating the graft copolymer latex with a coagulant at 60 to 80&#xb0; C., and aging the graft copolymer latex at 80 to 99&#xb0; C. to obtain a graft copolymer powder.

The present invention relates to acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer transparent resin having superior chemical resistance and transparency and preparation thereof, and particularly to acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer transparent resin having superior chemical resistance and transparency by graft-copolymerzing on a) conjugated diene rubber latex, b) methacrylate alkylester or acrylate alkylester compound, c) aromatic vinyl compound and d) vinyl cyanide compound, and preparation thereof. A method for preparing a weatherable thermoplastic resin, having superior weatherability and colorability and a weatherable thermoplastic resin prepared by the method are provided. The method includes preparing a seed by adding a water-soluble initiator to either an aromatic vinyl compound or a (meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester to obtain a first compound and performing polymerization with respect to the first compound; preparing an alkyl acrylate rubber polymer by adding an alkyl acrylate monomer, a first emulsifier of pH about 3 to about 9, and an oil-soluble initiator to the seed to obtain a second compound and performing polymerization with respect to the second compound; and preparing graft copolymer by adding the aromatic vinyl compound, a vinyl cyanide compound, a second emulsifier of pH about 9 to about 13, and the oil-soluble initiator to the alkyl acrylate rubber polymer to obtain a third compound and performing graft copolymerization with respect to the third compound.
