A continuous process for preparing a solid lipid nanoparticle of ibuprofen utilizing hot melt extrusion which avoids additional steps such as high-pressure homogenization, ultrasonication, or solvent evaporation. The continuous process includes preparing a pre-emulsion comprising a lipid, and continuously processing the pre-emulsion through a hot melt extruder device.

Formulations of topical ibuprofen SLN gel using HME technique

A solid self-micro/nano emulsifying formulation comprising CARP-1 functional mimetics (CFM; e.g., CFM-4.16 or CFM-4.17) for oral administration, and methods of fabrication and use thereof to treat cancer (e.g., breast cancer, triple negative breast cancer, resistant lung cancer, and non-resistant lung cancer) and reduce tumor volume. Solid self-micro/nano emulsifying formulation of CFM compounds was found to have significantly enhanced drug loading, aqueous solubility, and oral bioavailability of the formulation.

Self-emulsifying formulation of CARP-1 functional mimetics

A pharmaceutical formulation and topical administration thereof for the treatment of psoriasis or any one or more symptoms associated therewith. The formulation contains a therapeutically effective amount pemetrexed alone as the active agent or can contain therapeutically effective amounts of pemetrexed in combination with siRNA-inhibiting TNF&#x3b1;. The formulation may further include a cationic surfactant, such as cetylpyridinum chloride, and urea for enhanced permeation through the stratum corneum of the patient or subject.
