A vehicle lamp assembly generally includes a housing having a light transmissive lens and one or more light bulb receptacles. One or more light bulbs are located in the one or more light bulb receptacles. A fascia assembly is configured to be assembled onto a vehicle. A T-shaped connector is provided on one of the housing and the fascia assembly, and a T-shaped slot is provided on the other of the housing and the fascia assembly. The T-shaped connector is configured to engage the T-shaped slot to allow the housing to align with the fascia assembly to allow servicing the lamp assembly. One or more fasteners are configured to fasten the housing onto the vehicle without removing the fascia assembly.

A vehicle lighting assembly that comprises: a single lens having a first and a second plurality of near-field lens elements, and an exit surface; and a first and a second LED source that directs light through the respective first and second plurality of lens elements. The first and the second plurality of lens elements are configured to transmit light in a respective spread pattern and a high-intensity pattern through the exit surface. The assemblies can be configured such that the spread pattern and the high-intensity pattern collectively meet the low beam headlight requirements set forth in any current global vehicular lighting regulation, e.g., the current U.S. NHTSA Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 108.

A headlight assembly including a plurality of low-beam modules and a plurality of high-beam modules are enclosed in a housing. The low-beam modules include a top reflector disposed above a low-beam LED light source that projects a height limited first beam of light through the low-beam lens. The high-beam modules include a bottom reflector disposed below a high-beam LED light source that projects a second beam of light through a high-beam lens above the first beam of light. Each module has an aspect ratio of 2:1 with the height of the lens being twice the width of the lens.

A headlight assembly including an upper static bending light and a lower static bending light. The upper and lower static bending lights are provided on an inner wall of a headlight assembly that defines an opening. The inner wall of the assembly is inboard of the high-beam headlights. The upper and lower static bending lights are controlled by a controller that responds to inputs corresponding to the speed of the vehicle, angle of the steering wheel, and actuation of a turn signal actuator.

A bracket coupling a headlamp module to a fixed structure is sandwiched between two ribs that constrain the bracket in only the cross-car direction. Internal clearances in the bracket or rib features for accepting attachment bolts are designed to provide fore/aft and up/down position adjustments. The sandwich structure can be locked in (i.e., compressed) for a rigid, final attachment to the vehicle which will nevertheless allow sliding of the bracket within the ribs when subjected to the forces corresponding to an impact.

A vehicle apparatus comprises a slider body having a substantially vertical slide slot and a substantially horizontal shear pin. The slider body further includes a headlamp mounting section and a hood bump-stop mounting section. An adjustable bumper is received by the hood bump-stop mounting section with an adjustable height. A reinforcement member is configured to be fixed with respect to a grille opening of the vehicle. The reinforcement member has a bore aligned with the slide slot for receiving a fastening pin and an aperture receiving the shear pin. A force greater than a predetermined force applied to the adjustable bumper results in the shear pin breaking off in the bore and the fastening pin sliding along the slide slot as the slider body moves downward.
