A method for extracting process air loaded with overspray from a coating plant, which includes leading overspray picked up by an air stream as process air along a flow path to a conditioning device. The process air is led on the flow path through at least one replaceable flow module having an inlet opening and an outlet opening, on the inner surfaces of which overspray can be deposited and, after a limiting loading with overspray has been reached, can be replaced by an unloaded flow module. An apparatus for extracting process air loaded with overspray having at least one replaceable flow module having an inlet and an outlet opening arranged in the flow path of the process air. On the inner surfaces of the flow module, overspray can be deposited. The flow module can be replaced with an unloaded flow module after a limiting loading with overspray is reached.

Method and apparatus for extracting process air loaded with overspray and plant for coating objects

A method for precipitating overspray from the overspray-laden booth exhaust air of coating installations, in particular from painting installations, the overspray is carried by an air stream to a precipitation device, where a majority at least of the solid material is precipitated from the overspray. The overspray-laden booth exhaust air is guided through filter modules, in which overspray is precipitated and which are designed as replaceable one-way components having a filter housing and a filter unit, wherein each filter module is replaced by an empty filter module after reaching a loading overspray. Moreover, the invention relates to a device for precipitating overspray by means of such one-way filter modules, and to an installation for coating objects, in particular vehicle bodies.

Method and device for precipitating overspray and installation provided therewith

A system for coating objects, comprising a coating booth and an electrostatically operating separation unit. A feeding device, by which deposition liquid can be fed to the upper region of each deposition surface, is assigned to each deposition electrode of the deposition unit. The feeding device has a feed channel which can be filled with deposition liquid and which in the lower region thereof is formed by two spring plates. Two slide plates are also seated against the opposite deposition surfaces of the deposition electrode and can be moved back and forth between a position in which the lower edges of said slide plates are located above the lower edges of the spring plates and a position in which the lower edges of said slide plates are located below the lower edges of the spring plates.

A method for separating overspray from the cabin exhaust air of coating systems, in particular of painting systems, which is laden with overspray, the overspray is taken up by an air flow and conveyed to an electrostatically operating separating device. There, the bulk at least of the solids is separated from the overspray at at least one separating surface. An electrically conductive material or material mixture is used as a separating agent, which is applied to the at least one separating surface of the separating device and at the operating temperature of the separating device has a wax-like consistency. Also a separating device with such a wax-like material and a system for coating articles.

Method and device for electrostatically separating overspray with an absorption agent

A method and device for separating overspray from the cabin exhaust air of coating systems which is laden with overspray, wherein the overspray is taken up by an air flow and conveyed to an electrostatically operating separating device. There, the bulk at least of the solids is separated from the overspray at a separating area of at least one separating surface. A cohesive material web is used as a separating agent, which is disposed at least partly along the separating area of the at least one separating surface and during operation of the separating device is electrically conductive at least in the separating area of the at least one separating surface.

Method and device for the electrostatic separation of overspray

A device for separating overspray from the cabin exhaust air of painting systems includes at least one separating surface, on which the exhaust air is guided and which is connected to a pole of a high voltage source. An electrode device arranged in the air stream is associated with the separating surface and connected to the other pole of the high voltage source. The separated paint overspray is transported away from the separating surface with a separating fluid, which flows over the separating surface-from top to bottom. A discharge device having a channel open at the top is present, from which the separating fluid exits along the longitudinal extension of the discharge device when the level of the separating fluid in the channel exceeds an exit level, and reaches the separating surface such that the separating fluid flows downward on the separating surface as a substantially adhering layer.

Device for separating paint overspray

An apparatus for air treatment includes at least one reservoir which can be filled with a liquid, an air-conveying device and a device which ensures that for the treatment of the air to be treated the air comes into contact with at least a part of the liquid. A circulating device is provided, by which liquid in the reservoir is conveyed in a circuit out of the reservoir and back into the latter. For the purpose of sterilising the liquid, a device for mechanico-physical opening of cell membranes, for instance by electroporation or cavitation, is provided in the circuit. Such an apparatus can also be used for purifying exhaust air in a surface treatment installation.

Apparatus for air treatment and surface treatment installation having the same

An apparatus for treating workpieces comprises a treatment chamber enclosing a treatment zone for workpieces. A conveyor guides workpieces through the chamber. Said conveyor comprises drive elements located outside the chamber, and a carrier arm, extending through a slot along the conveyor's path of motion, in a wall of the chamber. A sealing arrangement comprises a first set of spring strips, which overlap laterally and are attached on one side of the slot to the wall, and an opposing second set of spring strips attached on the other side of the slot to the wall. In a resting position, the end zones of the spring strips overlap. Two deflecting devices, which move together with the carrier arm by the conveyor, open the sealing arrangement proximate the carrier arm by resiliently bending apart the spring strips. After passage of the carrier arm, the spring strips return to a sealing position.
