A valve has a position sensing mechanism including at least one Hall sensor and a signal transmitter, wherein the Hall sensor senses magnetic field components in a first measuring direction and in a second measuring direction orthogonal thereto, wherein the two measuring directions are arranged in a planar measurement zone of the Hall sensor. The signal transmitter is an axially polarized magnet which is arranged on a valve tappet linearly displaceable along an axis of movement such that the poles thereof lie in the axis, wherein the axis runs parallel to the first measuring direction and at a distance from the measurement zone along a surface normal of the measurement zone. An imaginary centerline is defined on the measurement zone through a center of the measurement zone and along the first measuring direction, wherein the axis is arranged at a distance from the imaginary centerline along the second measuring direction.

Valve having a position sensing means

A system for data transmission between two devices, including an output device having a binary output interface and a first field device having a binary input interface connected in a signal-transmitting manner to the binary output interface via a unidirectional connection. The output device includes a signal processing module which is set up to convert a data set to be transmitted to a binary, discrete-time signal in accordance with a serial protocol. The first field device includes a signal processing module which is set up to convert the received binary, discrete-time signal to the data set in accordance with the serial protocol. The invention further relates to a valve system.

Valve control head

A noncontact distance measuring sensor and a method for noncontact distance measurement is provided. The distance measuring sensor has a coil arrangement including at least two measuring coils oriented along a common axis. An electrically and/or magnetically conducting measurement object is in electromagnetic interaction with the coil arrangement. The distance measuring sensor further has an evaluation circuit for evaluating and ascertaining a position of the measurement object. In addition to the measuring coils, the noncontact distance measuring sensor includes an additional coil which is arranged along the common axis, is coupled to the evaluation circuit, and at least partly overlaps at least one of the two measuring coils.

Contactless distance measuring sensor and method for contactless distance measurement

A valve control system includes a valve control device and a hand-held actuating apparatus for triggering operating actions within the valve control device. The hand-held actuating apparatus includes a magnet arrangement and the valve control device includes a magnetic field sensor arrangement adapted to the magnet arrangement of the hand-held actuating apparatus. The magnet arrangement includes one or more magnets and an actuating means. The magnetic fields of the magnets are individually variable by the actuating means without movement of the hand-held actuating apparatus relative to the magnetic field sensor arrangement.

Manually actuated control module

A variable flow rate valve system adjusts flow rate using the flow medium itself by creating differential pressures that determine a position of a valve member in relation to an associated valve seat. The valve system includes a diaphragm that divides a valve chamber into a control chamber and a flow chamber connected with an inlet. A valve body is connected with the diaphragm and cooperates with a valve seat to modulate flow from the inlet to an outlet and through the flow chamber. A first pilot valve in a first bypass extends between the outlet and the control chamber, and a second pilot valve in a second bypass extends between the inlet and the control chamber. The valves are controlled to selectively open or close respective bypasses to vary the flow through the flow chamber between a fully open and a fully closed condition in response to a control signal.

Variable flow rate valve system

The device for metering fluid mixtures, in particular liquids containing a gas such as carbon dioxide, includes a flow sensor, a metering valve, and a controller that drives the metering valve as a function of a set point and of the flow rate measured. The flow sensor has an impeller wheel having a horizontal axis, the fluid mixture being guided on an arcuate path on the periphery of the impeller wheel, the path being directed from bottom to top. Despite the presence of gas, a precise metering is achieved.

A valve drive system has a valve drive device and a hand-operated apparatus to trigger control actions in the valve drive device. The hand-operated apparatus includes a magnet arrangement, and the valve drive device includes a magnetic field sensor arrangement adjusted to the magnet arrangement of the hand-operated apparatus.
