A container having a liquid composition therein is described. The container has a body portion; a neck disposed on the body portion, the neck having a neck opening; a first longitudinal side edge and an opposing second longitudinal side edge defining a container width therebetween; a cap positioned on the neck. The cap has a cap plate having an elongated opening having a width of from about 10 mm to about 35 mm. The elongated opening has a front edge and an opposing a back edge. The back edge is spaced from the second longitudinal side edge by less than about 45 percent of the container width. The liquid composition has a viscosity of from about 1 mPa·s to about 10,000 mPa·s.

A tampon product including a tampon within an applicator assembly is disclosed. The applicator assembly includes a barrel portion joined to a gripping portion, imparted with features that improve utility and convenience for the user. In one example the gripping portion has a rearward edge defining differing first and second lengths. In another example the gripping portion has a lateral outer cross section profile that is substantially oval-shaped, ovoid-shaped, elliptical or stadium-shaped and has major and minor axes, each perpendicular to a longitudinal axis, along first and second lateral perpendicular directions, wherein following absorption of fluid the tampon will expand laterally to a first lateral dimension to a greatest extent along a first lateral direction, and to a lesser second lateral dimension along a second lateral direction 90 degrees from the first lateral direction, wherein the first lateral direction is substantially parallel to one of the major and minor axes.

A dispensing system for a floor treatment composition. The dispensing system includes a housing partially enclosing a cavity and a cradle moveable within the housing along a z-axis from a first position to a second position. The dispensing system further includes a chassis and a sliding lock that includes an open frame. An inlet canula projects through the open frame. When the cradle is in the second position, the inlet canula entrance projects through the open frame and through a liquid transport aperture in the cradle. Latches extending from the open frame also project through engagement apertures in the cradle when the cradle is in the second position. The dispensing system further includes a pump in fluid communication with the inlet canula and a mop head in fluid communication with the pump.

Dispensing system for a floor treatment composition

A method of engaging a dispensing package with a dispensing system. The dispensing system includes a cradle movable from a first position to a second position. The dispensing system also includes a sliding lock that includes an open frame and a plurality of latches extending from the open frame. An inlet canula protrudes through the cradle when the cradle is in the second position. The dispensing package includes a coupling shell. The coupling shell includes a front aperture in the top wall thereof. The dispensing package is fitted to the cradle which is in the first position and pushed downwardly. The inlet canula punctures the membrane seal of the and the latch engages with the front aperture hold the dispensing package in the dispensing system.

A dispensing package for a floor treatment composition. The dispensing package includes a coupling shell and a container. The coupling shell is engaged with the container by a neck fitment projecting from the coupling shell. The coupling shell is provided with a dispensing opening and at least two support zones. The container includes a membrane seal engaged with a sealing surface of the container. The coupling shell can provide for a connection between a container and a dispensing system.

A valve assembly for a dispenser. The valve assembly includes a valve body that extends about a longitudinal axis and defines an outer surface and an inner passageway. A valve stem extends through the inner passageway and includes an outer stem surface, an inner stem surface opposite the outer stem surface, and a first orifice extending from the outer stem surface to the inner stem surface. The valve assembly includes a retaining member joined to the valve stem, wherein the retaining member extends outward from the outer stem surface. The valve assembly includes a resilient member and one or more force concentrators configured to operatively engage the resilient member.

A threaded valve for an aerosol container. The threaded valve comprises a housing, a moving assembly disposed in the housing, threads suitable for threadable onward attachment onto a complementary neck of an outer container for an aerosol dispenser and a plurality of pawls and/or ratchets disposed on and extending from the housing. The pawls and/or ratchets allow onward rotation of the valve onto the complementary neck and impeding rotational detachment of the valve in a reverse direction.
