A method for conducting structural fatigue life testing of a bearing, in which a cam embedded in the bearing under test generates a rotational dynamic radial expansion and transmits the expansion through the bearing to a load collar compactly mounted on the periphery of the bearing, forcing the load collar to deform synchronously with the expansion, thereby applying, together with the cam, a rotational dynamic strain pressure load, mainly in the radial direction in both inward and outward directions, to the bearing, based on the elasticity of the load collar itself, as a test load for the structural fatigue life testing of the bearing. Based on the above method, the present invention also provides a holding mechanism that provides a rotation-resistant support for the load collar and a bearing rotation test rig capable of assembling the holding mechanism.

Method and device for structural fatigue life testing of bearings

A bearing seal including an anchoring portion fixed on an inner ring of the bearing, and a sealing portion capable of forming a sealing fit with an outer ring of the bearing, the seal providing rigid slinger of substantially circular shape, the slinger having a root portion formed at a position corresponding to the anchoring portion for stabilization and support, and a radial portion formed in the section corresponding to the area between the anchoring portion and the sealing portion for radial support, wherein the radial portion is formed with at least one slot with the opening direction facing the radial periphery.

A method for packing rolling elements in a bearing providing using a bearing ring fixing component to fix a first bearing ring, preventing it from shifting when subjected to radial compression; inserting two first packing supports between a first bearing ring raceway and a second bearing ring raceway at a predetermined circumferential angle, the two first packing supports dividing the bearing in a circumferential range into a compression zone lying and a warping zone lying outside the range of the circumferential angle; and using a bearing ring compression component to apply a compressive load to a circumferential portion of the second bearing ring. The compressive load directed towards the first bearing ring in a radial direction, to force a radial gap between the first bearing ring raceway and second bearing ring raceway to decrease, such that a window suitable for packing the rolling elements is formed in the warping zone.
