An image forming apparatus includes a scanner section, an image forming section, and a functional unit. The scanner section is configured to read image information by scanning an image bearing side of a document sheet. The image forming section is located above or below the scanner section with a space section provided therebetween and is configured to perform image formation processing on a recording medium based on the image information read. The space section has at least one open vertical side. The functional unit is removably fitted into the space section through the open side.

Image forming apparatus

An operation panel includes a panel surface, a key mounting surface, and a key. The panel surface is exposed to outside of a main apparatus. The key mounting surface is recessed by a predetermined length from the panel surface. The key is mounted on the key mounting surface to protrude beyond the key mounting surface by a length shorter than the predetermined length and configured to set the main apparatus to perform a predetermined operation based on a function previously assigned thereto when depressed.

The delivered sheet stacking tray has a delivered sheet stacking surface, provided on an upside of an image forming section, which extends in a sheet-transporting direction so that a transporting-direction end of the delivered sheet stacking surface is opened toward a lateral outside of the image forming device body, wherein the delivered sheet stacking surface has a sheet removing concave which extends from (a) the transporting-direction end via (b) a stacking area of a maximum size sheet to (c) a stacking area of a minimum size sheet so that the sheet removing concave is positioned within an area ranging from the stacking area of the maximum size sheet to the stacking area of the minimum size sheet, and the sheet removing concave is formed substantially in parallel to a line linking (i) a corner portion of the stacking area of the maximum size sheet which corner portion is positioned on a downstream side in the transporting direction and on a front side of the image forming device to (ii) a corner portion of the stacking area of the minimum size sheet which corner portion is positioned on the downstream side in the transporting direction and on the front side of the image forming device, thereby realizing a preferable stacking condition of sheets on the delivered sheet stacking surface, and making it easy to remove the sheets.

Delivered sheet stacking tray and image forming device having the same

Provided is a printer for a wrapping material making it possible to record time data such as the date and time when an article was wrapped on the surface of the wrapping material for wrapping the article. This printer includes a wrapping material storing section for storing a wrap film, which is a wrapping material for wrapping an article. There is a clock for measuring time to generate time data, and an output for recording the time data on the surface of the wrap film. When the wrap film is discharged from the wrapping material storing section, the output records the time data on the surface of the wrap film. Therefore, on the wrap film with which the article such as food is wrapped, the time data, for example, the date and time when this food was wrapped are recorded. Thus, a user can check accurately the date and time the wrapping occured.
