The black matrix pattern includes first and second black linear segments with a width Ax of each first segment in a first direction. The resin wall pattern includes first and second wall linear segments with a width Dx of each first segment smaller than the width Ax in the first direction and the center line of each first segment aligned with that of the corresponding first black linear segment. The light reflective layer includes first and second reflective linear segments with a width Cx of each first segment larger than the width Dx in the first direction and the center line of each first segment aligned with that of the corresponding first black linear segment.

A loop antenna unit including two loop antennas having a same number of turns and different winding directions, the two loop antennas being positioned in line symmetry and not superposed on each other in a plan view. Each of the two loop antennas includes a loop conductive line wound continuously in one direction with n turns, where n is an integer of 3 or more, forming loops from a start point to an end point on the outermost loop or the innermost loop, the loop conductive line being bent in a transitional region in a direction from an outer loop toward an inner loop such that the loops have bent portions positioned side by side from an outermost first loop to an (n−1)th loop in the transitional region, and a jumper wire positioned on the insulating layer to cross the transitional region in a plan view.

The display substrate includes a touch sensing line. The array substrate includes a common electrode having a constant potential, a first insulating layer provided under the common electrode, a pixel electrode provided under the first insulating layer, a second insulating layer provided under the pixel electrode, a conductive line electrically connected to the common electrode under the second insulating layer, a third insulating layer provided under the conductive line, and a first active element and a second active element provided under the third insulating layer and electrically connected to the pixel electrode.

A display device substrate includes a transparent substrate, a frame member disposed on the transparent substrate and formed in a frame region surrounding a display region, a first transparent resin layer formed on the transparent substrate having the frame member formed thereon, a black matrix formed on the first transparent resin layer such that the display region is divided into plural openings in a matrix form, and a second transparent resin layer formed on the first transparent resin layer on which the black matrix is formed. The frame member includes carbon as a major colorant and has a light shielding property, and the black matrix includes at least one organic pigment as a major colorant.

The counter substrate has the first wiring layer, a black matrix, and a first transparent resin layer laminated in this order. The black matrix has a line width larger than a line width (MW) of the first wiring layer, overlapping the first wiring layer so as to include a pattern of the first wiring layer. The active element is covered with a light shielding pattern via a first insulation layer. Liquid crystal display device with touch sensing function and plurality of transparent electrode patterns

A black electrode substrate includes a transparent substrate having a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface, the second surface having a display region in a rectangular shape in plan view and an outer region outside of the display region, a black wiring forming a black electrode pattern that defines a plurality of pixel opening portions in the display region, and a transparent resin layer formed in the display region such that the transparent resin layer has the same rectangular shape as the display region in plan view. The black wiring has a laminated structure including a first black layer, a first indium-containing layer, a copper-containing layer, a second indium-containing layer, and a second black layer. The black wiring has a terminal portion formed such that the second indium-containing layer positioned in the outer region is exposed from the laminated structure.

A liquid crystal display device includes a display unit including a display substrate, an array substrate, and a liquid crystal layer. The display substrate includes a first transparent substrate, one or more light absorbing resin layers, a touch electrode layer, a transparent resin layer, and a transparent electrode layer. The light absorbing resin layer is patterned such that resin portions and an opening portion are formed. The touch electrode layer is patterned such that touch electrode portions are each extended in a first direction perpendicular to a lamination direction. The touch electrode layer and the light absorbing resin layer have a same pattern such that the touch electrode portions and the resin portions overlap with one another when viewed in the lamination direction. The transparent electrode layer is patterned such that transparent electrode portions are each extended in a second direction perpendicular to the lamination direction and the first direction.

A liquid crystal display device includes a counter substrate facing an array substrate via a liquid crystal layer, and a backlight unit provided on a back side of the array substrate. The counter substrate includes a first light shielding layer formed on a first transparent substrate, a transparent resin layer formed on the first transparent substrate, and a second light shielding layer formed on the transparent resin layer. The first light shielding layer has openings corresponding to polygonal pixels having a polygonal shape in which at least two edges are parallel in a planar view.
