An imaging device for evaluating focusing of light by one or more optical elements on an imaging sensor, the imaging device having one or more processors configured to compare a first value of a characteristic of a first signal from a first photoelectric conversion structure of the imaging sensor having a first light-receiving surface area and a second value of the characteristic of a second signal from a second photoelectric conversion structure of the imaging sensor having a second light-receiving surface area smaller than the first light-receiving surface area, and to determine whether focusing is achieved by the one or more optical elements.

An image pickup apparatus having: an image sensor, having an image pickup plane, configured to photoelectrically convert a subject image formed on the image pickup plane to an image signal; a driving actuator configured to rotatably move the image sensor relative to a rotation axis passing through the image pickup plane; an angular velocity detection sensor configured to detect a rotational angular velocity of the image sensor about the rotation axis; a first shutter configured to control an exposure time of the image sensor; a second shutter configured to control the exposure time of the image sensor; and one or more processors configured to: control the driving actuator to reduce rotational shake around the rotation axis based on the rotational angular velocity; and select one of the first shutter and the second shutter to control the exposure time of the image sensor based on the rotational angular velocity.

Image pickup apparatus

In a zoom lens of a fixed total length, at the time of changing the magnification from the wide-angle end toward the telephoto end, the first lens group is anchored while the second lens group is moved, and the third and fourth lens groups are moved so as to be located at the object side of the telephoto end relative to the wide-angle end, such that: the interval between the second and third lens groups is decreased at the telephoto end relative to the wide-angle end; the interval between the third and fourth lens groups is increased at the telephoto end relative to the wide-angle end; and the interval between the fourth and fifth lens groups is increased at the telephoto end relative to the wide-angle end, and at the time of focusing a near object point from a remote object point, the second lens group is moved.

Zoom lens

An operation apparatus includes a touch detection section, a vibration section, a setting section and a control section. The touch detection section is provided on an exterior part, and outputs a signal when touched by an user. The vibration section is provided on the touch detection section in an overlapping manner, and vibrates when the touch of the user is detected by the touch detection section. The setting section is configured to set a function to be carried out when the touch detection section is touched. The control section is configured to determine a touch position of the touch detection section, provided on the touch detection section of the determined touch position, and configured to cause the vibration section to vibrate, and output a signal used to cause the function.
