A pneumatic tire, having in a ground contact surface of a tread a plurality of main grooves extending in the tread circumferential direction and a plurality of land portions demarcated by the main grooves and tread ends, wherein, provided that two land portions adjacent to the central land portion on the respective sides in the tread width direction of the central land portion each represent an adjacent land portion, rigidity in the tread circumferential direction of the central land portion is lower than rigidity in the tread circumferential direction of the adjacent land portion.

Pneumatic tire

A tire in which a reinforcement layer and a tread section are laminated in this order from the inside toward the outside in a radial direction of the tire. The tread section includes an inner base layer, an outer base layer, and a cap layer that are laminated in this order from the inside toward the outside in the radial direction of the tire. The cap layer is made of a material of which a modulus of elasticity and a loss tangent are lower than those of a material of the outer base layer. The inner base layer is made of a material of which a modulus of elasticity is lower than that of a material of the cap layer.

A pneumatic tire according to the present invention includes, one or more main grooves extending in the tire circumferential direction, and a plurality of lateral grooves extending in the tire width direction, the main grooves and the lateral grooves defining a block row formed by a plurality of blocks, at least one sipe being disposed in each block. Each block has a first cutaway groove with one end opening into a lateral groove located on one side of the block and the other end terminating within the block, a second cutaway groove with one end opening into a lateral groove located on the other side of the block and the other end terminating within the block, and a connecting narrow groove having a groove width narrower than that of the first and the second cutaway groove and connecting the first and the second cutaway groove.

A pneumatic tire is disclosed, adapted to highly effectively combine on-ice and on-snow performances. The pneumatic tire includes block groups (G) formed by polygonal blocks (), which are arranged closely in a tread portion (). The polygonal blocks () are formed by grooves () including first groove () with a groove width (W) between the polygonal blocksneighboring with each other in the tire circumferential direction. The groove width (W) of the first grooves () is larger than a groove width (W) of second grooves () between the polygonal blocksneighboring with each other with a zigzag pattern.
