A power conversion device () of the present invention includes a power module () for converting direct current electricity to alternating current electricity, first and second power supply buses () connecting input terminals () and the power module (), and a metal casing () for housing the first and second power supply buses () and the power module (). The capacitive coupling between the first power supply bus () and the metal casing () and the capacitive coupling between the second power supply bus () and the metal casing () are substantially matched. Thus, radiation noise is reduced by reducing the propagation of switching noise to the metal casing.

Power conversion device

A power control apparatus and power control method that reduce harmonic noise produced when modulating a carrier wave frequency over predetermined cycles. A command value signal is generated for obtaining a desired output voltage, and a carrier wave is output. The frequency of the carrier wave is modulated by a desired frequency over predetermined cycles, and the desired frequency also modulates. The carrier wave is compared to a command value signal and a resulting control signal is provided to a switching unit. Harmonic noise caused by the modulation frequency can be spread, and the peak of the harmonic noise caused by the first modulation frequency can be reduced. Therefore, noise caused by a modulation frequency can be reduced.

Controller and method for frequency-varying control of power converter

A control device for a power converting device which performs PWM on an output from a DC power supply and produces an output of AC power, including: a current controller which converts a given current command value into a voltage command value; a carrier generator which generates a PWM carrier; a PWM generator which generates a PWM signal to be fed to the power converting device according to the voltage command value and the PWM carrier; a frequency controller which effects a change in the frequency of the PWM carrier from the carrier generator; and a current control gain controller which effects a change in the current control gain of the current controller according to the change in the frequency of the PWM carrier. The current control gain of the current controller is changed according to the change in the frequency of the PWM carrier from the carrier generator.

Device and method for controlling power converting device

An inverter system comprises a PWM generator that generates a control signal that causes a switching device to output an output value, a carrier signal generator that outputs a carrier signal to the PWM generator, a carrier frequency changing unit that changes a frequency of the carrier signal, and a target frequency setting unit that sets a target frequency and calculates a specific frequency from the target frequency. The carrier frequency changing unit changes a carrier frequency so that the specific frequency matches with a harmonic component of each of values of the carrier frequency.
