An interior illumination device includes a receiving housing of a design part having swinging shafts; a switching knob of a design part having swinging holes, said switching knob being swingably supported by the swinging shafts and the swinging holes; a switching unit of a functional part swingably supporting a switching lever; and a rotation regulating member interposed between the switching knob and the swinging shafts of the design part for regulating a swinging range of the switching knob. When the design part and the functional part are assembled with each other, the switching knob and the switching lever are connected to each other, and the switching lever is swung in conjunction with a swing of the switching knob.

Interior illumination device

A combined-type connector of a multi-stage construction in which a main housing and an auxiliary housing each having metal terminals are combined together. In the combined-type connector, a fitting hood of the main housing is formed by a rear wall and a peripheral wall defining four side walls, and a combination-purpose insertion port is formed in the rear wall of the fitting hood, and is directed and leads to a region disposed over one side of rear end portions of terminal receiving chambers. A fitting hood of the auxiliary housing is formed by three walls, that is, a wall, disposed forwardly of a press-connection opening, and two walls disposed respectively at opposite sides of this wall, and is inserted into the fitting hood of the main housing through the insertion port, and the thus inserted fitting hood of the auxiliary housing has such a size that the three walls thereof are disposed in contiguous relation to an inner peripheral surface of the fitting hood of the main housing. There is provided a terminal cover for opening and closing the press-connection opening in the auxiliary housing.

Combined-type connector

A cover member of a press-connecting connector for covering an opening portion of terminal receiving chambers formed in a connector housing, includes a plurality of sandwiching plates, for sandwiching wires, arranged side by side and in parallel to each other on a closed side surface of the cover member, and the sandwiching plates having thick portions formed so that a distance between the sandwiching plates is substantially equal to a outer diameter of the wires. Further, the thick portions may be formed partly on the sandwiching plates so that step portions are formed on boundaries between the thick portions and not-thick portions so as to abut against rear ends of the press-connecting terminals

Cover member of press-connecting connector

There is disclosed a terminal retaining construction of a press-connecting connector which can positively retain a press-connecting terminal on terminal retaining portions of a housing, without reducing the strength of that portion of the press-connecting terminal where press-connecting blades for press-connection to a wire are formed. Each of press-connecting terminals 13 can be retained by terminal retaining portions 15 in a corresponding terminal receiving chamber 12 in a housing 11, the terminal having press-connecting blades 16 to which a wire can be press-connected. The press-connecting blades 16 are formed by stamping on each of opposite side walls 13b of the press-connecting terminal 13 to thereby form a window 17 through the side wall 13b, and the window 17 can be retainingly engaged with the associated terminal retaining portion 15 of the housing 11. Each of the opposite side walls 13b of the press-connecting terminal 13 has an interconnecting portion 18 extending upwardly from the window 17 to an upper edge 13d of the side wall 13b. A retaining recess 19 is formed in that portion of a bottom plate portion 13a of the press-connecting terminal 13 opposed to each of the windows 17, and the retaining recess 19 can be retainingly engaged with the associated terminal retaining portion 15 of the housing 11.
