An insulated wire for vehicle use includes a conductor and an insulating layer disposed on an outer circumference of the conductor. The insulating layer comprises a halogen-free flame retardant cross-linkable resin composition containing a base polymer, and a silane coupling agent and a metal hydroxide which are added to the base polymer. The base polymer includes, as major components, (a) an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) and (b) an acid-modified olefin resin having a Tg of &#x2212;55&#xb0; C. or lower at a ratio (a):(b) of 70:30 to 100:0 and has an acetic acid content (VA) of 50% to 70% by mass. The silane-coupling agent is added in an amount of 1 to 5 parts by mass and the metal hydroxide is added in an amount of 100 to 250 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the base polymer.

Insulated wire for vehicle use and cable for vehicle use

A non-halogen flame-retardant insulated wire includes a conductor and an insulating coating layer including an inner layer and an outer layer. The inner layer includes a composition in which 50 to 95 parts by weight of a polyethylene with a density of 0.930 g/cmor more and 5 to 50 parts by weight of an ethylene copolymer are mixed. The outer layer has a composition including a base polymer in which 60 to 95 parts by weight of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer containing 60% by weight or more of vinyl acetate and 5 to 40 parts by weight of a maleic acid-modified ethylene-&#x3b1;-olefin copolymer are mixed, and including 80 to 200 parts by weight of a metal hydroxide. The outer layer resin composition is crosslinked.

Non-halogen flame-retardant insulated wire

A halogen-free extra-high-voltage cable for railway rolling stock includes a stranded conductor, an inner semi-conducting layer covering the stranded conductor, an outer semi-conducting layer provided on an outer periphery of the inner semi-conducting layer via an insulation layer, and a sheath layer on an outer periphery of the outer semi-conducting layer, the sheath layer containing 80 to 200 parts by weight of metal hydroxide and 0.5 to 10 parts by weight of cross-linking agent with respect to 100 parts by weight of olefin-based polymer containing ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer as a main component, the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer having a vinyl acetate content of not less than 40 wt % and less than 50 wt % and a melt flow rate of not more than 2.5 g/10 min and a resin composition is cross-linked.

Halogen-free extra-high-voltage cable for railway rolling stock

An insulated wire uses a resin composition. The insulated wire includes a conductor; and an insulating material provided on the conductor, the insulating material includes a polyester resin in 100 parts by weight, a non-bromine flame retardant agent in 1-30 parts by weight, a polyorganosiloxane core-graft copolymer in 1-50 parts by weight, an inorganic porous filler in 0.1-50 parts by weight; and a hydrolysis resistance modifier in 0.05-10 parts by weight.

Insulated wire using a resin composition

A high heat-resistance resin composition, the high heat-resistance resin composition being thermally treated at 150&#xb0; C. for 100 hours, wherein a heat absorption amount of the high heat-resistance resin composition which is measured at a melting point thereof by Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) is equal to or less than 45 J/g before thermal treatment, an increasing rate of the heat absorption amount of the high heat-resistance resin composition which is measured at a melting point thereof after the thermal treatment by Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) is equal to or less than 20% as compared to that before the thermal treatment, and a degree of extensibility thereof is equal to or more than 200% after the thermal treatment.

High heat-resistance resin composition and high heat-resistance insulated cable which uses the same

A polyester resin composition according to the present invention includes: a PBT resin; a styrene system elastomer; and a compound having a glycidyl group or a polyolefin composition in an amount of 50-80 wt %, 10-30 wt % and 10-30 wt %, respectively.
