A crimp terminal includes a conductor crimping portion having a U-shaped cross section and including a bottom plate and a pair of conductor caulking pieces extending upward from both side edges of the bottom plate. The other conductor caulking piece includes a bending portion being folded and is formed so that a tip positioned at a tip side from the bending portion faces downward. A pair of the conductor caulking pieces is bent inward so that the one conductor caulking piece overlaps on an upper side of the other conductor caulking piece and a conductor of an electrical wire to be connected is wrapped, and thereby a pair of the conductor caulking pieces caulks the conductor so as to closely contact on an upper surface of the bottom plate. Therefore, it is prevented that the conductor caulking piece opens after being caulked.

Crimp terminal and crimping structure with respect to electrical wire thereof

A conductor of an aluminum electric wire having a solder coating film thereon is placed on a conductor crimping part. The conductor crimping part includes a strongly crimped part where solder coating film of the conductor part is crimped with a strength to allow a break to occur due to application of a crimping force, and a weakly crimped part where solder coating film of the conductor part is crimped with a strength to prevent a break from occurring due to application of the crimping force. The conductor part and the conductor crimping part are electrically connected.

In a connecting method of a pressure attaching terminal to an electric wire, the pressure attaching terminal includes first and second electric wire connecting parts having U shapes and having a bottom plate part and one pairs of electric wire caulking pieces. When the electric wire is a single core electric wire, a single core conductor is set and one pairs of electric wire caulking pieces are respectively bent inside to caulk the caulking pieces to the single core conductor. When the electric wire is a multi-core electric wire as a multi-core twisted conductor, the multi-core conductor is set, and the one pair of electric wire caulking pieces are bent inside to caulk the electric wire caulking pieces to the multi-core conductor, and the one pair of electric wire caulking pieces are bent inside to caulk the electric wire caulking pieces to the part covered with a coat.

A connection terminal includes a terminal connection portion to be connected with a mating terminal is connected, a wire connection portion connected to the terminal connection portion and a wire, an anticorrosion material provided to cover an area in the wire connection portion where water may be poured to the wire, and an anticorrosion material holding portion provided in the wire connection portion towards the terminal connection portion.

Connection terminal

A connection terminal includes: a terminal connection portion to be connected with a mating terminal; a wire connection portion including a pair of crimping pieces crimped to an exposed conductor and insulation sheath of a wire; an anticorrosion material provided to cover the exposed conductor and insulation sheath exposed on an outside of the wire connection portion and cover a gap provided in a portion where edges of the respective crimping pieces face and come into contact with each other; and an anticorrosion material holding portion provided in the portion where the edges of the respective crimping pieces face and come into contact with each other.

An electric wire with terminal includes: a waterproof seal sleeve that is attached to a tip of a conductor part of a covered electric wire from which a covering section is removed; an inner terminal that is compressed in an area containing a boundary between the conductor part and the covering section of the covered electric wire; and an outer terminal which includes an electric connection section connected to a mating terminal, a compression section having a front part, a center part and a rear part, and an interconnecting section that connects the electric connection section with the compression section. The front part of the compression section compresses the waterproof seal sleeve, the center part of the compression section compresses the conductor part, and the rear part of the compression section compresses a front part of the inner terminal.

Provided is a terminal, including: a ground metal part made of a first metallic material; an intermediate layer made of a second metallic material having a smaller value of standard electrode potential than that of the first metallic material, and plated thin on at least a part of a surface of the ground metal part; and a surface layer made of a third metallic material having a smaller value of standard electrode potential than that of the second metallic material, and plated thin on at least a part of a surface of the intermediate layer.

An electric wire with terminal is provided to include: an inner terminal including a crimp part that is crimped to compress a conductor part of a covered electric wire; an outer terminal that is compressed to the inner terminal by a front part thereof and is compressed to the covered electric wire by a rear part thereof; and a waterproof seal sleeve that is attached to a tip of the conductor part of the covered electric wire, wherein the seal sleeve is crimped by the crimp part of the inner terminal.

A water proof crimping terminal comprises a base plate part; and a pair of core wire crimping pieces integrally formed with the base plate part to form an annular core wire crimping part during crimping process of an electric wire; wherein an end side of one of the core wire crimping pieces is folded outward to form a folded part having an outward repelling force, an end side of the other of the core wire crimping pieces is arranged outside the folded part as a covering part, and an outer surface of the folded part is allowed to come into close contact with an inner surface of the covering part by the repelling force.
