A transaxle (), having a hydraulic drive unit () and a pair of left and right wheel support units (L andR), is suspended from a vehicle frame so as to be turnable around a turning-center axis oriented in a fore-and-aft direction of a vehicle. The hydraulic drive unit () comprises: a pair of left and right hydraulic motors (L andR) having respective left and right horizontal motor shafts (); a center section () formed therein with an oil passage for hydraulically connecting at least one of the hydraulic motors to a hydraulic pump, the center section having motor attachment surfaces onto which the hydraulic motors are attached; and a pair of left and right axle casings (L andR) containing the respective hydraulic motors and supporting the respective motor shafts. The pair of wheel support units (L andR), supporting respective left and right travel wheels (L andR), are joined to respective outer ends of the left and right axle casings, and drivingly connected to the respective motor shafts ().

The hydraulic steering mechanism according to the present invention includes an axle case, a first steering case, a second steering case, a first arm, a second arms, a third arm, a hydraulic actuator, and a tie rod. The first, second and third arms are provided to the first steering case, the second steering case and the axle case, respectively. The hydraulic actuator includes a cylinder and a piston for moving with respect to each other by an action of hydraulic pressure. The first and second arms have tie rod mounting portions to which the tie rod is mounted. At least one of the first and second arms has a first hydraulic actuator mounting portion to which one of the cylinder and the piston in the hydraulic actuator is mounted. The third arm has a second hydraulic actuator mounting portion to which the other of the cylinder and the piston in the hydraulic actuator is mounted. The first hydraulic actuator mounting portion is at a longer distance from axis lines of the differential yoke shafts than the second hydraulic actuator mounting portion in a plan view when the vehicle is traveling substantially straight.

Hydraulic steering mechanism and driving-steering-wheel support mechanism

In a transmission for a working vehicle, a working unit includes a hydraulic power unit and a valve unit enclosed in a first bulging portion of a transmission case closer to an upper side or on a top surface thereof and connected with each other along a vehicle lengthwise direction. The first bulging portion is closer to a first lateral side along the vehicle width direction of the transmission case, while a hydraulic pump is located closer to a second lateral side. Hydraulic fluid is drawn from the transmission case, around a lower side of the hydraulic pump, through a suction port thereof, and discharged to a suction port of the valve unit. The hydraulic power unit includes a cylinder tube and piston, extending in the lengthwise direction, and a support shaft, extending along the width direction, which is supported by the transmission case and connected to a lift arm.

Transmission for a working vehicle

In a transmission for a working vehicle, a PTO input shaft is located with its rotational axis extending in a vehicle lengthwise direction substantially at a widthwise center of a transmission case along a vehicle width direction. A running power input shaft is located with its rotational axis extending in the vehicle lengthwise direction substantially at the same position as that of the PTO input shaft along the vehicle width direction and at a lower side of the PTO input shaft. The transmission case provides an accommodation space for accommodating a differential gear unit, which space is displaced to a first lateral side of the vehicle along the vehicle width direction. A running power transmission shaft is located on the front side of the space with its axis extending in the vehicle lengthwise direction, and the running power input shaft, the running power transmission shaft and the differential gear unit are interlocked to each other via a running power gear train.

Power transmission arrangement of a working vehicle and transmission for the working vehicle

In a power transmission arrangement, a working unit includes a hydraulic power unit and a valve unit enclosed in a first bulging portion of a transmission case closer to an upper side or on a top surface thereof and connected with each other along a vehicle lengthwise direction. The first bulging portion is closer to a first lateral side along the vehicle width direction of the transmission case, while a hydraulic pump is located closer to a second lateral side. Hydraulic fluid is drawn from the transmission case, around a lower side of the hydraulic pump, through a suction port thereof, and discharged to a suction port of the valve unit. The hydraulic power unit includes a cylinder tube and piston, extending in the lengthwise direction, and support shaft, extending along the width direction, which is supported by the transmission case and connected to a lift arm.

In an axle assembly, a differential gear device includes a ring gear and a differential cage. The ring gear has a gear portion formed on a first side surface thereof, which first side surface faces the input shaft and is positioned along the axis of the driving axles, for being operatively connected with the input shaft, and forms an axle hole through which an inner end of one of the right and left driving axles relatively rotatably passes. The differential cage is relatively non-rotatably connected with the ring gear via a second side surface of the ring gear, which second side surface faces away from the input shaft and is positioned along the axis of the driving axles. The differential case also forms therein an axle hole through which an inner end of the residual one of the right and left driving axles relatively rotatably passes, so that the inner ends of the right and left driving axles face to each other.

Axle assembly

In a working vehicle in which a transmission casing is disposed between left and right front wheels constituting the drive wheels for the vehicle, a power take-off casing having a front-PTO shaft is mounted on an outer surface of a front wall of the transmission casing.
