A leaf spring portion turning back at a bottom wall (first side wall portion) and coming into contact with a male terminal of a connector on the other side to press the male terminal to a ceiling wall (second side wall portion) is formed in a tubular-shaped main terminal body portion in a terminal, the main terminal body portion is formed when a metal plate is bent in a tubular shape such that a pair of end edges approaches each other to form the ceiling wall (second side wall portion), and depressed portions bending toward an inside of the main terminal body portion and extending in a longitudinal direction of the main terminal body portion are provided in a pair of respective wall portions forming the ceiling wall (second side wall portion).

Terminal and connector

A connector includes a terminal, a housing body haying a terminal housing chamber inside which the terminal is housed, an opening portion formed at an outer peripheral surface of the housing body, a retainer having a locking protrusion that protrudes into the terminal housing chamber to lock the terminal housed in the terminal housing chamber when the retainer is fitted to the opening portion, and a hinge that connects the retainer to the housing body so as to allow the retainer to turn between an open position at which the opening portion is opened and a closed position at which the retainer is fitted to the opening portion to close the opening portion. When the retainer is in the closed position, an outer surface of the retainer is flush with the outer peripheral surface of the housing body.

Vehicle interior illumination lamp

A vehicle interior lighting system includes: a designed coverattached to a ceiling wall in an inside of a vehicle compartment; and a light source unitarranged in the rear of the designed cover. In this system, a light beam emitted from an emission portof the light source unit illuminates the inside of the vehicle compartment through two irradiation holesfor spot illumination, which are provided in the designed cover. A light guideis arranged between the emission portof the light source unit and the two irradiation holes 15 of the designed cover. The light guideis configured to divide the light beam emitted from the light source unit into two directions, and to guide the thus-divided light beams to the respective irradiation holes.

On-board interior illumination unit

Providing an electrical assembly, which can protect electric components provided at the electrical assembly from damage, and minimize output amount of recycle material and waste material, a functional module as the electric assembly includes a lamp and a switch as the electric components. The lamp extends from a center area of a bottom wall of a housing so as to slant toward an outside of the housing according to going apart from the bottom wall. The switch extends vertically from one end of the bottom wall. Ends of the lamp and the switch far from the bottom wall project out of the housing. When the functional modules are transported to an assembling line, the pair of functional modules is stacked on each other so as to arrange the lamp face to each other in parallel, and fixed to each other.

Electrical assembly and method of transporting the same

A vehicular room illuminating lamp includes: a plurality of illumination units applying voltages through courtesy wires thereof to lamps which irradiate positions in a vehicle cabin, the positions corresponding to four doors; a mode switch capable of selecting an all-lights-on mode, a door mode and a light-off mode; and a controller that individually receives a mode selection signal of the mode switch and respective door open/close signals of the four doors. The controller applies the voltages to all of the courtesy wires in the all-lights-on mode, applies the voltage only to the courtesy wire of the illumination unit corresponding to the door indicated to be open by the door open/close signal in the door mode, and does not apply the voltage to any of the courtesy wires irrespective of states of the door open/close signals in the light-off mode.

Vehicular room illuminating lamp

A vehicle interior illumination lamp unit includes: a designed unit disposed on a lower side of a ceiling plate of a vehicle; and a functional unit disposed on an upper side of the ceiling plate of the vehicle and coupled to the designed unit. A spacer insertion space is provided on an outside of an operation plate of the functional unit, and an insertion plate portion of the spacer is inserted into the spacer insertion space, whereby engagement between an engagement hook and an engaged portion is inhibited from being released by an impact.

Guiding slopesconfigured to guide the baseto a right position in the inside of the bulb attachment holewhile the base is being inserted to the bulb attachment hole are provided to the inside of the supporting cylindrical part.

Bulb socket structure for onboard interior lighting system

A vehicle room lamp includes a box-like body, a light source received within the box-like body, a switch provided within the box-like body so as to control the turning-on and -off of the light source, a light-transmitting portion which is provided at the box-like body at an opening thereof so as to move toward and away from the switch, and allows light from the light source to pass therethrough to the exterior of the box-like body, and an abutment member which is movable together with the light-transmitting portion, and can operate the switch in accordance with the movement of the light-transmitting portion toward the switch. The abutment member is disposed outside a light distribution range of light directed from the light source toward the light-transmitting portion.

Vehicle room lamp

A design part composing a lamp unit includes a plate part positioned at a cabin side and covering an attaching hole of a roof trim, and a pair of vertically extending parts. The vertically extending part includes a frame part vertically extending from the plate part in a direction perpendicular to the plate part, and a movable piece continued to a connecting part of the frame part at a far side from the plate part. When a function part is pushed into between the pair of movable pieces, the gap between the movable pieces is increased, and a locking margin between the movable piece and an outer edge of an attaching hole is increased. Thus, holding force to hold the roof trim is secured.

Attaching structure

A room lamp which is cost effective and simple. The room lamp has a design part and a function part, the design part being secured with a lens in a housing attachable to an opening defined in an interior finish material of a vehicle, and the function part being disposed at a side of a rear face of the interior finish material in that the function part is supported by the design part, and having a light source. Clips are provided in the housing for temporarily securing the design part at predetermined positions. Projections project from the edge part of the opening along the rear face of the interior finish material. The housing and the projections hold the interior finish material.

Room lamp

A lamp unit mounting structure includes a mounting panel having a mounting portion, a lamp unit, an elastic fixing member and a restricting member. The elastic fixing member is provided on the lamp unit, and includes a first portion which is extended from the lamp unit, a second portion which has a substantially U-shape, and has a first end being integrally connected to the first portion, a third portion which is extended from a second end of the second portion toward the lamp unit. The engagement portion engages the mounting portion of the mounting panel. The restricting member is provided on the lamp unit, and restricts a movement of the elastic fixing member in a mounting and dismounting direction of the engagement portion relative to the mounting panel. The restricting member has an escape portion which allows a movement of the elastic fixing member toward the lamp unit.
