A technical object of the present invention is to devise a top plate for a cooking appliance that can suppress proliferation of bacteria or mold. In order to achieve the technical object, the top plate for a cooking appliance of the present invention includes: a crystallized glass substrate having a cooking surface on which a cooking device is placed; and a decorative layer formed on the cooking surface, in which the decorative layer includes 30 vol % to 100 vol % of ZnO&#x2014;BO-based glass and 0 vol % to 70 vol % of refractory filler powder.

Top plate for cooking device

Provided is a sealing material that easily converts laser light to thermal energy, exhibits satisfactory fluidity, and is conducive to a reduction in its melting point. The sealing material includes 54.9 vol % to 99.9 vol % of glass powder, 0 vol % to 45 vol % of refractory filler powder, and 0.1 vol % to 10 vol % of a laser absorbing material, in which the glass powder includes as a glass composition, in terms of the following oxides in mass %, 70% to 90% of BiO, 2% to 12% of BO, 1% to 15% of ZnO, 0.2% to 15% of CuO+FeO, and 0.1% to 20% of MgO+CaO+SrO+BaO.

Sealing material

A tablet includes a bismuth-based glass and a refractory filler, wherein the bismuth-based glass comprises, as a glass composition, in terms of mass %, 70 to 90% of Bi2O3, 2 to 12% of B2O3, 0 to 5% of Al2O3, 1 to 15% of ZnO, 0 to 10% of BaO, and 0 to 8% of CuO+Fe2O3; the tablet comprises 1 to 25 vol % of alumina as the refractory filler; and the filling ratio of the tablet is 71% or more.
