In a structure of a disconnect plug of an electric vehicle, a plug bracket is raised from an inside of a battery unit to an inside of a bulge formed on a floor panel under rear seats for preventing a submarine motion of a passenger. In addition, a disconnect plug is detachably attached to a front face of a plug bracket, and an opening for accessing to the disconnect plug is formed on a front wall of the bulge. Further, a cover for covering the opening capable of being opened and closed is provided on a trim beneath a front face of a seat cushion of the rear seats.

Structure of disconnect plug for electric vehicle

A battery unit (F) comprising a plurality of batteries () and a connection control device () which controls electrical connection relating to the battery unit (F) are provided in a vehicle (). The battery unit (F) comprises two groups (SR, SL) of the batteries () disposed to have a space (G) there-between, and the connection control device () is disposed in the space (G). The layout of the connection control device () is thereby optimized and the length of a harness () can be shortened.

Vehicle battery mounting structure

A battery assembly has excellent performance for sensing temperature by a temperature sensing element. The battery assembly includes a bus bar for electrically connecting the battery or cell units to each other by connecting electrode members provided with the battery or cell unit. The battery assembly further includes a bus bar extension portion extended from the bus bar. The bus-bar extension portion is disposed out of the area between the adjacent electrode members and provided with a temperature sensing or detection element that detects the temperature of the battery or cell unit.

A battery pack includes a module stack body having a plurality of stacked battery modules; first and second connecting members each provided on the same surface of the module stack body in order to hold the stacked battery modules and extending in the stacking direction of the battery modules; a first reinforcing member fixed to the first and second connecting members at first and second fixed points; and a second reinforcing member fixed to the first and second connecting members at third and fourth fixed points. Orientation of the components along the stacking direction of the battery modules of vectors having respectively the first and third fixed points as a start point and the second and fourth fixed points as an end point are opposed to each other.

A battery pack temperature control structure is provided for an electric vehicle, and basically includes first and second battery modules, a temperature control unit and an air duct. The first and second battery modules are disposed inside a battery pack case. The second battery module has a lower height than the first battery module. The temperature control unit has an air blowing port for blowing a temperature control air to the first and second battery modules. The air duct is connected to the air blowing port of the temperature control unit, and has an air blowout opening arranged to blow out the temperature control air to a front of the first battery module at a location above the top of the second battery module. The air blowout opening-extends in a vehicle width direction and blows out the temperature control air toward the first battery module.

Battery pack temperature control structure for electric vehicles

A battery temperature regulating device a battery module, a temperature detection device, a battery temperature regulating device, and a battery pack case. The battery temperature regulating device includes a cooling heat exchanger configured to cool air that passes therethrough, a condensed water reservoir configured to store condensed water generated in the cooling heat exchanger, and an air blowing device configured to blow the air in the vicinity of the cooling heat exchanger and the condensed water reservoir and circulate the air within the battery pack case. The battery temperature regulating device is configured to cool the air that passes through the cooling heat exchanger, drive the air blowing device to execute the cooling of the battery module when the temperature of the battery module is higher than a predetermined temperature, and drive only the air blowing device regardless of the temperature of the battery module.

Battery temperature regulating device

A battery temperature control device has a battery pack case that houses a temperature control unit and a battery stack as a group of battery modules. The temperature control unit has an evaporator exchanges heat using the air conditioning unit from the upstream side of the direction of airflow, a blower fan that recirculates the interior air inside the pack case, a PTC heater as a fin member, and a unit duct that supplies air to the battery stack.

Battery temperature control device

A battery pack temperature control structure is provided for an electric vehicle, and basically includes a battery module, a heavy-current disconnecting switch and a temperature control unit. The battery module is mounted in an inner space of the battery pack case. The heavy-current disconnecting switch disconnects, by a manual operation, a battery high-power circuit in the battery module. The temperature control unit is mounted in the inner space of the battery pack case for producing a temperature-controlled air to be blown to the battery module. The heavy-current disconnecting switch is disposed in an upper space position within the inner space of the battery pack case. The temperature control unit is disposed in a space position that is lower than the heavy-current disconnecting switch and that overlaps with the heavy-current disconnecting switch in the vehicle vertical direction.

A battery pack with improved assembly workability includes a plurality of battery modules stacked on each other, each provided with a case accommodating a unit cell and a through-bolt that penetrates a through hole formed in the cases along the stacking direction of the battery modules to connect the battery modules each other. The battery modules are further provided with an insertion auxiliary member that is inserted into at least one opening of the through hole, and the insertion auxiliary member has a tapered portion such that the inner diameter thereof gradually decreases towards the tip of the insertion auxiliary member.

A high-voltage harness connection structure for an electrically driven vehicle, having a battery pack disposed in an underfloor position of the vehicle and having a battery-side high-voltage connector terminal disposed on a front end thereof, a power unit arranged in a vehicle forward position with respect to the battery pack and having a unit-side high-voltage connector terminal disposed thereon, and a high-voltage harness that connects the battery-side high-voltage connector terminal and the unit-side high-voltage connector terminal. The harness connection surface of the battery-side high-voltage connector terminal forms a harness connection inclined surface so that the high-voltage harness is connected to be inclined outwardly in a vehicle width direction with respect to a vehicle longitudinal direction, and routed in an outwardly bent state in the vehicle width direction with respect to the vehicle longitudinal direction.

High-voltage harness connection structure for electrically driven vehicle

The battery pack () includes: a protrusion () protruding in a vehicular upward direction and disposed at an upper face of the battery pack (), and a dent portion () disposed at the upper face of the battery pack () and formed lower than the protrusion (), wherein an accessory () is disposed in the dent portion ().

A valve for a fluid passage in a vehicle fuel cell system. A housing includes an inflow passage connected to an upstream side of the fluid passage and an outflow passage connected to a downstream side of the fluid passage. A valve body is disposed in the housing and includes an intermediate fluid passage configured to provide fluid communication between the inflow passage and the outflow passage. A heating element is configured to apply heat directly to the valve body.
