A control device includes an information acquisition unit configured to acquire information related to an air density in a coil and information related to a voltage applied to a rotary electric machine, an insulation determination unit configured to determine whether or not dielectric breakdown occurs in the coil based on the information related to the air density and the information related to the voltage acquired by the information acquisition unit, and configured to determine whether or not an insulation state of the coil is needed to be maintained by supplying an oil to the coil, and a drive instruction unit configured to drive an oil supply unit, when the insulation determination unit determines that dielectric breakdown occurs in the coil and determines that the insulation state of the coil is needed to be maintained by supplying the oil to the coil.

Control device for rotary electric machine unit

A cooling device for an electric motor that includes a stator, a rotor and a shaft fixed in an inner circumferential surface of the rotor. The stator includes a stator core and a stator coil wound on the stator core. The stator coil includes a protruding portion which protrudes from the stator core and which constitutes a coil end. The cooling device includes (a) a refrigerant supply mechanism for supplying a refrigerant from an upper side of the electric motor and (b) a refrigerant guide protruding from a motor casing toward an inner peripheral side of the coil end. The refrigerant supply mechanism is configured to supply the refrigerant to the refrigerant guide. The refrigerant guide extends in a direction of a rotation axis of the electric motor to a position that overlaps with the coil end as seen from a radial direction of the electric motor.

Cooling device for electric motor

A stator for an electric motor includes: (a) a tubular stator core having slots provided through the stator core in a direction of a rotation axis of the stator core; (b) coils inserted through the slots; (c) a conductive member electrically connected to the coils; (d) a temperature sensor attached to the conductive member; and (e) a resin portion provided to cover at least a part of the conductive member and at least a part of the temperature sensor. The conductive member is provided with a hole that extends in the direction of the rotation axis of the stator core. The temperature sensor is inserted, at least its portion, in the hole.

Stator for electric motor

Provided is a rotary electric machine including a rotor and a stator. The rotor includes a refrigerant passage. An axial direction of the rotor is along the horizontal direction. The stator is placed around the rotor and includes a tubular stator core. The stator core includes: a communication passage via which an inner peripheral surface of the stator core communicates with an outer peripheral surface of the tubular stator core such that the communication passage guides the refrigerant from the inner peripheral surface of the stator core to the outer peripheral surface of the stator core; and a projection portion provided on the outer peripheral surface of the tubular stator core such that the projection portion extends in the axial direction of the tubular stator core. The projection portion is placed downward in the gravitational direction from an opening of the communication passage on the outer peripheral surface.

Rotary electric machine

A rotating electrical machine includes a rotor, a stator core, coils, and insulating sheets. A discharge port that discharges coolant is provided on an outer circumferential face of the rotor. The stator core includes an annular or cylindrical yoke, and teeth disposed on an inner circumferential face of the yoke in a circumferential direction with spaces. The stator core is disposed encompassing an outer circumference of the rotor. A slot-wall-face channel is provided on a wall face of the stator core defining a slot, and configured to open as to the slot for the coolant to flow through. The coils are wound on the teeth. The insulating sheet is disposed in the slot and interposed between the stator core and the coil, and is configured with at least part of the slot-wall-face channel open as to the coil.
