A focal-plane shutter that has a shutter base plate that has an opening; a shutter blade that opens/closes the opening; a blade arm that pivotally supports the shutter blade; and a blade drive member that has a drive pin that is connected to the blade arm. The blade drive member rotates the blade arm so as to drive the shutter blade. The blade arm has a connection hole into which the drive pin is inserted; and a restriction member that is between an inner circumferential surface of the connection hole and an outer circumferential surface of the drive pin and that restricts the movement of the drive pin inside the connection hole.

Focal-plane shutter, and imaging device and electronic apparatus comprising focal-plane shutter

Provides a focal-plane shutter comprising: a base plate that has an opening portion for exposure; a blade group for opening and closing the opening portion; an arm that is linked to a blade group; and a driving mechanism portion, linked to the arm, for driving the blade group through the arm, wherein: the blade group and the arm are linked through a coupling plated with a metal crystallized structure with crystallization degree of no less than 99%. This focal-plane shutter can improve the wear durability of a coupling for linking a blade group and an arm. This can prevent the production of wear debris, and prevent the coupling from becoming brittle through wear, even given repeated operations.

Focal-plane shutter and imaging device

A first blade includes two arms and four blades, and is arranged between a shutter base plate and an intermediate plate. A second blade includes two arms and four blades, and is arranged between the intermediate plate and an auxiliary base plate. During an exposure operation, the four blades of the first blade are brought into an overlap state from a development state and the four blades of the second blade are brought into the development state from the overlap state. Since a contour forming edge of the intermediate plate above the opening portion is formed in the shape of an arc, the four blades of the second blade are able to start an operation appropriately from the overlap state.

A focal plane shutter for a camera which is suitable for miniaturization and arranged to prevent wear debris from entering into a blade chamber via a base plate hole. Wall portions (and) are formed protruding towards the blade chamber side surface from edges of the elongated holes (and) provided in a base plate (). Rear blade-use arms (and) have step-like bent portions (and) formed therein so that a tip end side of the arms is positioned further toward the base plate () than the rotation center side. During operation, the bent portions (and) allow a small gap to be maintained between the wall portion () and the rear blade-use arms (and). The freedom in determining the layout is not restricted so that miniaturization of the device is possible and entry of debris into the blade chamber is suppressed.

When a hold member rotates on a shaft counterclockwise in the set operation, pressing parts of a pressing member which is fitted on top end of the hold member press pressed parts of iron piece members to rotate a lock-releasing member for a first blade and a lock-releasing member for a rear blade so that the iron piece members are made to come into contact with iron-core members of electromagnets, while an engagement pin presses an arm of a connection spring to rotate a restraining member clockwise so that a restraining part of the restraining member moves into the trajectory of the movement of a restrained part of the lock-releasing member for the rear blade. When the coils of the electromagnets are not electrified and the hold member rotates clockwise, the lock-releasing member for the front blade presses a front blade locking member to make it possible to perform an open operation of the front blade, while the lock-releasing member for the rear blade cannot press a rear blade locking member because the lock-releasing member for the rear blade is restrained by the restraining member. As a result, an exposure aperture is fully opened, and it becomes possible to perform observation with electronic finder.

Focal plane shutter for digital cameras

In a focal plane shutter according to the present invention, a support plate is placed while a plate plane of the support plate is parallel to a shutter base plate, a second blade-driving member is fitted to a shaft erectly provided on the shutter base plate, the second blade-driving member being rotated by the biasing force of a second blade-driving spring, an electromagnet for second blade is fitted to the support plate, the electromagnet attracting and holding an iron piece member fitted to the second blade-driving member, a printed wiring board on which a wiring pattern for supplying electric current to the electromagnet is formed is placed in a hole formed in the support plate, and terminal pins of the electromagnet are soldered to the both ends of a coil.

Focal plane shutter for cameras

A blade room for a second blade group is formed between a shutter base plate and a middle plate and a blade room for a first blade group is formed between the middle plate and an auxiliary base plate, by separating a space between the shutter base plate and the auxiliary base plate by the middle plate. A push pin which is planted on the shutter base plate pushes a portion on the lower area of the middle plate toward the auxiliary base plate so that the middle plate bends in the shape of an arc. Also, the area of the middle plate below the exposure aperture has the narrowest width in the portion which is pushed by the push pin and the pushed portion of the middle plate has a shape by which the area of the middle plate below the exposure aperture is easy to bend.

In a first blade unit-driving unit which is rotated by elastic force of a first blade unit-driving spring in shooting, its driving pin rotates a first brake member counterclockwise and a second brake member clockwise against the elastic force of a coil spring fitted to a fitting shaft and against friction resistance force of a friction-providing part including a plate spring or the like at the final stage of the rotation of the first blade unit-driving unit, the plate spring being fitted to the fitting shaft, so that the first blade unit-driving unit is braked, and, at this point, one end part of the first blade unit-driving spring contacts a part to be pushed of the first brake member and controls the counterclockwise rotation of the first brake member, so that braking force to the first blade unit-driving unit acts on the first blade unit-driving unit larger and more surely.

When photographing using an optical finer, a hold member rotates, and a pressing member pushes a pushed portion of an iron piece member to rotate an unlocking member for a first blade and an unlocking member for a second blade to bring the iron piece member into contact with an iron core member of an electromagnet. When photographing using an electronic finder, a permanent magnet rotor of an electromagnetic device is rotated in a state where the electromagnet is not magnetized, a deterring member is made to face the operation locus of a deterred portion of the unlocking member for a second blade, and then, the hold member is rotated. Thereby, the unlocking member for a second blade is deterred by the deterring member so as to allow observation using the electronic finder without pushing the locking member for a second blade.
