A support structure for supporting a flat inverter located between seats aligned along the vehicle width direction is provided. A bracket supports the inverter in a horizontal position above a floor tunnel of a floor between the seats in a passenger compartment such that it is spaced apart from the floor tunnel. The bracket has a pair of rear leg portions aligned along the vehicle width direction. Middle parts of the pair of rear leg portions are formed so as to be easily bent outward or inward in the vehicle width direction. When a load is applied to the bracket due to movement of the seats during a side impact on the vehicle, the pair of rear leg portions bend, and the horizontal position of the inverter is disrupted.

Support structure for on-vehicle high voltage component

A suspension member includes a cross member and front body mounts. The cross member includes a main panel including a lower panel and an upper panel joined together, and a reinforcing panel joined to the main panel. The cross member is a member including a front wall, an upper wall, a rear wall, and a lower wall, and having a closed sectional shape defined by the front wall, the upper wall, the rear wall, and the lower wall. The reinforcing panel includes a lower flange constituting a front portion of the lower wall, and an intermediate wall extending upward from a rear end of the lower flange and joined to the upper wall. On opposite sides of the cross member in a vehicle-width direction, bottom walls of the front body mounts are joined to the flange, and side walls of the front body mounts are joined to the main panel.

Suspension member

A suspension member includes a side rail. The side rail is formed in a closed sectional structure by combining an upper member, a lower member, and a reinforcing member located between the upper member and the lower member. The upper member and the reinforcing member are fixed by welding and form a closed cross section having an upper hollow portion. The reinforcing member and the lower member are fixed by welding and form a closed cross section having a lower hollow portion. A distance from an upper end to a lower end of the upper hollow portion in a vertical direction in the lower bending portion is longer than that in the upper bending portion, and a distance from an upper end to a lower end of the lower hollow portion in the vertical direction in the upper bending portion is longer than that in the lower bending portion.

A radiator support cover includes a plurality of gutter members and a plurality of external air supply vents formed between the gutter members. The external supply vents allow the external air introduced from a front grill of a vehicle to flow toward the vehicle engine. The gutter member includes an upper gutter member and a lower gutter member, which is positioned below the upper gutter member and displaced relative to the upper gutter member in a width-wise. The lower gutter member is arranged at a tilted angle with respect to the horizontal line. A notch is formed at the width-wise lower end of the lower gutter member.
