The present disclosure provides for a reinforced elastomeric blade having a plurality of laminated layers. The laminated layers can include at least two layers of elastomeric material at least partially separated by a fiber reinforced laminate layer or an embedded metal layer.

Method of fabricating an elastomeric blade

A steel serrated plow guard with combination carbide insert which can be mounted on most plow blades is provided. The plow guard can be mounted onto most plow blades through the universal mounting elongated slot. The exemplary plow guard for mounting to a snowplow includes a plow guard body, a plow guard wear surface along the plow guard body, at least one enlarged outer edge on the plow guard body, at least one serrated cutting surface attached to the plow guard wear surface, an elongated horizontal slotted punch aperture along the plow guard body, and at least one longitudinal carbide matrix groove.

A plow blade edge system includes a plurality of wear bars mounted to a rear side of a plow blade section body. A first channel extends below each of the wear bars and is partially defined by the plow blade section body. Each where bar includes a weldment of carbide matrix along a bottom edge of the wear bar forming a first wear surface. The weldment of carbide matrix is retained in the first channel. The plow blade section body further includes a second channel formed in and extending along a bottom edge of the plow blade section body. The second channel is operative to receive at least one carbide insert and forms a second wear surface. A total surface area of the first wear surface exposed to the road surface is greater than a total surface area of the second wear surface exposed to the road.

A plow edge having improved durability and performance is provided which can comprise an elastomeric material, for example, a styrene elastomeric material. The present disclosure provides a plow blade edge system for mounting to a mold board of a plow comprising an adapter blade, at least two elastomeric blade segments wherein each segment is selectively reversible to present first and second edges; a clamp bar wherein the clamp bar is mounted to the adapter blade with the at least two elastomeric blade segments secured therebetween; and, each of the at least two elastomeric blade segments secured selectively in a first orientation or a second orientation.

A wear plate for attachment to an excavator bucket. The wear plate comprising a mounting surface for mounting to an exterior face of the excavator bucket. The wear plate having a plurality of holes extending along at least a portion of the wear plate. The holes include carbide matrix weldment therein overfilling the holes. The wear plate comprises a sacrificial and impermanent replaceable wear edge for the exterior faces of the excavator bucket.
