Disclosed is an aqueous deicing and/or anti-icing composition, and the use thereof on areas in need of deicing and/or anti-icing, exhibiting substantially improved corrosion inhibition, conductivity inhibition and/or hydrogen embrittlement inhibition. Said composition comprises 40-60% by weight of at least one alkali metal carboxylate, 0.1-0.5% by weight of benzoic acid and/or at least one alkali metal benzoate, 0.05-0.5% by weight of at least one alkali metal phosphate, 0.005-0.05% by weight of at least one alkali metal metasilicate, and 0.01-0.15% by weight of succinic acid and/or at least one alkali metal succinate. Balance to 100% by weight is water and said composition is pH adjusted to pH 9-12 by addition of at least one alkali metal hydroxide and/or carbonate. Disclosed is also a method of obtaining corrosion inhibition, conductivity inhibition and/or hydrogen embrittlement inhibition by addition of 0.01-0.15% by weight of succinic acid and/or at least one alkali metal succinate to an aqueous deicing and/or anti-icing composition.

Inhibited aqueous deicing composition

Disclosed is an aqueous polyurethane dispersion obtained by dispersing in water a reaction product obtained by reacting a reaction mixture comprising at least one organic, aliphatic, cycloaliphatic or aromatic di, tri or poryisocyanate, at least one isocyanate reactive polycarbonate diol, triol or polyol, at least one compound comprising at least one isocyanate reactive group and at least one free radically polymerizable unsaturated group, and at least one compound comprising at least one isocyanate reactive group and at least one at least dispersing active group, and optionally at least one compound comprising at least two isocyanate reactive groups and having a molecular weight of less than 1000 g/mol.

Aqueous polyurethane dispersion

A liquid radiation and thermally curing composition characterized in, that said composition comprises at least one ester between at least one tri or polyalcohol and acrylic and/or methacrylic acid, which ester has at least two hydroxyl groups, at least one acrylic or methacrylic double bond, a hydroxyl value of 50-500 mg KOH/g and a double bond concentration of 1-10 mmoles/g, at least one crosslinking agent for hydroxyl functional compounds, which crosslinking agent optionally has at least one olefinic double bond, and an additive package comprising at least one photoinitiator, radical scavenger, light stabilizer, wetting agent and/or leveling agent, and optionally at least one monomeric or oligomeric reactive diluent.
