A flexible sensing panel includes a flexible substrate having first and second major surfaces, first and second separated side edges, and first and second ends, the flexible substrate being at least partly disposed between a flexible protective layer and a flexible fastening layer, and at least one sensing element being disposed on the flexible substrate. The protective layer is secured to the first major surface of the flexible substrate and is folded over the first and second side edges onto the second major surface of the flexible substrate and secured thereto to position at least part of the first and second side edges within the so formed folds, and wherein the fastening layer is at least partly disposed on the second major surface of the flexible substrate and secured thereto.

Method for production of disposable absorbent articles

Absorbent article having a longitudinal direction and a transverse direction, a front portion, a rear portion and a middle portion located between the rear portion and the front portion is disclosed. The article has a first longitudinal side edge and a second longitudinal side edge extending in said longitudinal direction, and a first transverse side edge and a second transverse side edge extending in the transverse direction. The article includes a liquid permeable topsheet, a liquid impermeable backsheet, and an absorbent core enclosed between the topsheet and the backsheet, and a first and a second fastening tab attached to said article. The first and second fastening tabs each has a first surface including a first fastener and a second surface including a second fastener.

A dispenser for on-demand dispensing of a length of belt material and a first hook material patch is provided. The dispenser includes a first holder for a roll or a stack of continuous belt material, a dispensing outlet for the belt material, a separating element for separating the length of belt material from the roll or the stack of continuous belt material, a second holder for at least the first hook material patch, and a hook material patch providing device. The hook material patch providing device is arranged to cooperate with the second holder to dispense the first hook material patch. There is further provided a method of on-demand dispensing a belt.

Dispenser and method of dispensing

A disposable belt for use with an absorbent product and a belt system is provided. The disposable belt includes a length of belt material and a hook material patch connected to a first surface portion. The length of belt material has a first major surface and an opposite second major surface, and includes a loop surface structure. The hook material patch is flat and has a first side facing away from the first surface portion, and a second side abutting against the first surface portion. The first side is provided with a first hook surface structure. The second side of the hook material patch is provided with a second hook surface structure, and the second hook surface structure engages with the loop surface structure. The belt system includes the disposable belt and a second length of belt material.

An absorbent article includes an absorbent pad and a belt to which the pad is detachably attached and which is intended to be attached to a separate belt that is placed around the waist of the wearer to hold the pad when the article is being worn, wherein the absorbent pad exhibits a chassis including a liquid-permeable top sheet and a liquid-impermeable back sheet oriented away from the wearer and an absorbent core between the top sheet and the back sheet. The difference in kinetic coefficients of friction measured with ASTM D 1894-08 standard between the back sheet of the pad and the outwardly oriented surface of the belt is at maximum 0.5. The attachment between the belt and the pad will then not cease due to the movement of the article relative to the surroundings when the belted-article is being used, thereby preventing contamination and leakage caused by detachment.

A male incontinence guard includes a liquid permeable topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent body between the topsheet and the backsheet. The guard has a transverse direction and a longitudinal direction and is divided by a transverse dividing line into a front region with a front transverse edge and a rear region with a rear transverse edge. The front region has a greater maximum extension in the transverse direction than the maximum extension of the rear region in the transverse direction, and the longitudinal extension of the rear region is 10-60% of the longitudinal extension of the guard.

Absorbent garment such as a diaper and an incontinence guard, said garment has a first body panel, a second body panel and a crotch portion there between. The garment is provided with opposed laterally extending belt members attached to the waist portion of the first body panel and are adapted to be wrapped around the waist of the wearer of the garment and fastened together by a first fastener. The second body panel at its waist portion is provided with second fasteners adapted to be fastened to the belt members, in such a way that the garment will assume a pant-like shape. The belt members are interconnected by a waist band extending in transverse direction along the waist portion of the first body panel. At least one of the belt members has an elastic region located at the proximal end of said belt member adjacent said waist band.

Absorbent article, in particular a diaper or an incontinence product, includes an absorbent structure () including a back-sheet (), a top-sheet () and an absorbent core () there between. A method of manufacturing absorbent articles having an absorbent core () enclosed between casing sheets () and elastic elements (-) located in a front part and/or rear part of the article, includes the steps of laying a row of absorbent cores () on a first web () of casing material running in a machine direction with the longitudinal direction of the cores being extended in the machine direction, applying a second web () of casing material onto the web containing the row of absorbent cores, applying elastic elements (-) to one of the webs before it contacts the row of absorbent cores, thereby forming a row of connected absorbent article blanks, and thereafter cutting individual absorbent articles out of the row of article blanks.

Method of manufacturing absorbent articles containing elastics

An absorbent article includes a belt and an absorbent structure. The absorbent structure is fastened to the belt via an article fastening means having a form such that the article fastening means does not fold or bend upwards under the forces present when the diaper is assembled.

Belted absorbent article

The disclosure relates to an absorbent article including a top-sheet having an inner side and an outside and a back-sheet having an inner side and an outside and the inner side of the back-sheet being directed towards the inner side of the top-sheet. At least one elongate belt is provided which has a free end portion for fastening the absorbent article around the waist of a wearer and an attachment end portion that is fixedly attached to the outside of the back-sheet or to the outside of the top-sheet, whereas the free end portion is arranged within the boundaries of the top-sheet and/or the back-sheet.
