Example implementations relate to calibration data transmissions. For example, a computing device includes a storage device to store calibration data of an electronic device coupled to the computing device. The computing device also includes a network interface to establish a network connection with a second computing device. The computing device further includes a processor to automatically transmit, via the network connection, the calibration data to the second computing device based on a location of the second computing device relative to the computing device and based on an association with second computing device via a communication session.

In example implementations, methods for selecting a network connection for paired endpoint devices and an apparatus for performing the same is provided. The method includes establishing a connection to a mobile endpoint device. A first quality score associated with a wireless connection of the mobile endpoint device is calculated based on a parameter associated with the wireless connection between the mobile endpoint device and a wireless network. A network selection is made based on a comparison of the first quality score and a second quality score. The second quality score is associated with a connection between the computer and a communication network.

Examples disclosed herein provide the ability for a computing device to adjust settings on a computing device. In one example method, the computing device captures, via a first sensor of a computing device, images of an environment that the computing device is currently in, and detects objects in the environment as captured by the images. As an example, the computing device determines a location of the environment based on contextual data gathered from the detected objects and adjusts a setting on the computing device based on the determined location.

Examples disclosed herein provide the ability to determine the availability of a conference room. In one example, a computing device may determine whether there is a user present in a conference room, determine scheduling of the conference room, and illustrate, on a display outside the conference room, availability of the conference room.

A system and method for enhancing operability of client-server computing system is herein disclosed. A system includes a first computing device. The first computing device includes a file type association module. The file type association module determines, as part of a remote computing session, whether to associate a file type with an application program on the first computing device or an application program on a second computing device. The file type association module causes the file type to associate with the application program on one of the first and second computing devices.

An example device includes a headset interface to connect a headset that includes a speaker and a first microphone, a second microphone to detect ambient sound in an environment of the device, and a processor connected to the headset interface and the second microphone. The processor is to perform a volume adjustment to sound to be outputted at the speaker of the headset based on the ambient sound detected by the second microphone during a call that uses the headset. The processor is further to compensate the volume adjustment for a user's voice detected at the first microphone.

In an example, an apparatus having a voice assistant application that generates a graphical image response is provided. The apparatus includes a microphone and a processor in communication with the microphone. The microphone receives a secure voice assistant mode activation command and a voice command. The processor is to execute a voice assistant application, wherein the voice assistant application is to generate a graphical image response in response to the secure voice assistant mode activation command and the voice command, to change a privacy setting in the apparatus in response to the secure voice assistant mode activation command, to transmit the voice command from the microphone to the voice assistant application, and to transmit the graphical image response to a display.

In an example implementation, a method of tracking a mobile device includes determining by a tracked device, that a pairing status between the tracked device and a command device has changed from a paired status to an unpaired status. A timer is started on the tracked device in response to determining the unpaired status, and in response to the timer reaching a threshold time, a distress packet is transmitted from the tracked device that indicates the tracked device is lost.

Examples disclosed herein provide a computing device that provides a cable management system. As an example, the computing device includes a tray and a port disposed along an interior perimeter of the tray. As an example, a groove in the tray is to receive a cable that is connectable to the port at a first end of the cable, wherein the cable is to be routed through the groove and a second end of the cable is to emerge external to the computing device. As an example, a lid is to conceal the interior perimeter of the tray, wherein the lid is to secure a connection of the first end of the cable to the port.

Examples disclosed herein relate to a conference call host. Examples include to establishing, by a first computing system, a first secure connection to a second computing system via a wireless network in response to receiving a secure connection request from the second computing system; the first computing system and the second computing system are in physical proximity to each other. Examples include to provide an operating system session to the second computing system through the secure connection while the first computing system and the second computing system remain in physical proximity to each other; the operating system is stored on and executable by the first computing system. In some examples, information is sensed by an optical sensor responsive to light from a marker arranged to indicate a boundary of a physical user collaborative area to receive user-input marks during a video conference session, where the marker is distinct from the physical user collaborative area. Examples disclosed herein provide the ability for a computing device to configure one microphone at a time from physically colocated devices to remain active for participating in a teleconference. In one example method, the computing device determines whether a first device with a first microphone on the teleconference is physically colocated with respect to a second device with a second microphone on the teleconference. When the first and second devices are physically colocated with respect to each other, the computing device configures either the first or second microphone to remain active for participating in the teleconference while the other of the first or second microphone is to be muted.

In an example implementation according to aspects of the present disclosure, a method may include determining when a keyboard for a computing device is on a display surface of the computing device and, upon making the determination, using a portion of the display surface covered by the keyboard to provide a configurable backlight for the keyboard.
