The present disclosure provide a multiple factor authentication process using text passcodes. A process performs a first verification of a user using an authentication credential transmitted via a first communication channel. Based on successfully performing the first verification, the process performs a second verification using a word or a textual phrase transmitted to the user via a different communication channel. The word or textual phrase can be a single-use, limited-time token provided as text or audio.

The present disclosure provide a multiple factor authentication process using text pass codes. A process performs a first verification of a user using an authentication credential transmitted via a first communication channel. Based on successfully performing the first verification, the process performs a second verification using a textual phrase transmitted to the user via a different communication channel. The words included in the textual phrase can be selected to avoid ambiguous pronunciations and spellings.

Determining phrases for use in a multi-step authentication process

Techniques for managing complaints are disclosed. The system may receive complaints submitted by users. A complaint may describe an incident, such as a safety issue or a cheating incident. The system analyzes a set of complaints to identify similar complaints. Upon identifying a threshold number of similar complaints, the system generates an incident report based on the complaints. The system may refrain from generating or submitting any incident report for a complaint if the threshold number of similar complaints have not been received by the system. The system may or may not include information such as the identity of the reporter, the identity of the accused party, or the incident location in an incident report based on threshold criteria.

Crowd-sourced incident management

Computerized embodiments are disclosed for keeping personally identifying information within a protected domain environment when interacting with a computerized service environment. A restriction to be imposed on access to personally identifying information that is stored within a protected domain environment is received. A data residency protection component is generated based on the received restriction, stored in a data residency database that is accessible to the computerized service environment, and transmitted to a remote computerized system included in the protected domain environment. The data residency protection component is configured to, when executed: monitor data communications from the protected domain environment to detect the personally identifying information, generate a protected communication by isolating the personally identifying information, and transmitting the protected communication having the personally identifying information isolated. The record corresponding to the data residency protection component is reference to avoid creating a second data residency protection component that counteracts the restriction.

Systems and methods for providing data residency protection using remote proxies

The analysis model is used to identify r&#xe9;sum&#xe9; values, in the r&#xe9;sum&#xe9;, that correspond to r&#xe9;sum&#xe9; attributes associated with the r&#xe9;sum&#xe9; type. Additionally or alternatively, the analysis model is used to identify segments, in the r&#xe9;sum&#xe9;, that correspond to segment types associated with the r&#xe9;sum&#xe9; type. After a segment type of a particular segment is identified, r&#xe9;sum&#xe9; values within the particular segment are analyzed based on the segment type of the particular segment.

Techniques for replacing a token with a mask value are disclosed. In an embodiment, a masking engine is implemented by a cloud application. The cloud application receives, from a client device, a request for a data value associated with a data field. The masking engine determines that a set of data stored in association with the data field corresponds to a token format. The cloud application transmits a mask value, rather than the set of data, towards the client device. In an embodiment, a masking engine is implemented by a client device and/or a data residency proxy. The masking engine receives a set of data for display at an interface of the client device. The masking engine determines that the set of data corresponds to a token format. The masking engine causes a mask value, rather than the set of data, to be displayed at the interface.

Heuristic caching techniques are used to improve application usability within the constraints of computing resources. A user's behavior in connection with an application is recorded and used to intelligently determine which transitions of a user interface of the application to cache. In addition, the user may have one or more characteristics. Such characteristics may also be used to identify other users so that the other users' behavior in connection with the application can be used for intelligently determining which transitions of the user interface to cache.

Heuristic caching to personalize applications

In one embodiment, a movable area, referred to as a 'lens,' on a graph display allows the user to preview the zoom level of the graph. When a node, line or other item in the graph is in the area of the lens, then the item can be shown at a different zoom level than rest of the graph. In particular embodiments, a heuristic algorithm can be used to dynamically determine the visual representation of a node when in the lens as unique from the depiction of the node when the node is outside of the lens. Computerized embodiments are disclosed for keeping personally identifying information within a protected domain environment when interacting with a computerized service environment. In one embodiment, user interface commands are received from a remote computerized system of the protected domain environment at the computerized service environment via computerized network communications. A data residency protection component is generated within the computerized service environment in response to the user interface commands. The data residency protection component is configured to act as a proxy for the computerized service environment, when executed in the protected domain environment by the remote computerized system, to isolate personally identifying information from visibility or storage outside of the protected domain environment. The data residency protection component is downloaded to the remote computerized system of the protected domain environment from the computerized service environment via the computerized network communications.

Embodiments of the present invention allow a system to use data gathered from social networks and other systems to determine an ordered list of desired topics or skills to define a subject matter area and incorporate the order of the topics or skills into a search. To define this subject matter area, embodiments can consider not just the topics or skills that are listed, but those topics or skills that are similar based on a pre-computed topic graph. These considerations can be incorporated into a generated query, so that the query itself accounts for similarity of topics via the topic graph and the order of desired terms. The query generation process can include a claimed skills veracity model that provides differential weighting to claimed skills, based on the skill-sets of users who are deemed to be similar to the user being evaluated.

Methods for identifying, ranking, and displaying subject matter experts on social networks

Embodiments provide for assessing and scoring user proficiency in topics determined by data from social networks and other sources. Embodiments can combine the information available to direct models, e.g., using user profiles, endorsements, etc., with data from various other external knowledge bases to find implicit topics for users, and other types of reasoning to compute proficiency scores. Implicit topics, i.e., those topics related to explicitly identified areas of expertise, can be determined based on a topic graph such as a Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG). Generally speaking, embodiments can traverse the topic graph for explicitly identified skills or topics and determine related or similar new skills based on nearby nodes of the graph. This approach can uncover skills that user that may not have disclosed as well as scoring users on skills based on the skill's similarity to those the user did claim.

Methods for assessing and scoring user proficiency in topics determined by data from social networks and other sources

Embodiments of the invention provide systems and methods for wellness tracking and recommendations. More specifically, embodiments of the present invention provide wellness applications that integrate wearable devices with Human Resource (HR) and other enterprise application data. According to one embodiment, providing integrated wellness information can comprise retrieving enterprise application data from one or more data sources, retrieving data from one or more wearable devices of one or more employees, and applying analytics to the retrieved enterprise application data and the data retrieved from the wearable devices. The integrated wellness information can be generated based on the applied analytics and can be provided to the one or more employees through a user interface.

An embodiment provides a timeline upon which a playhead indicator is moved or positioned. A method for detecting the sharing of a password related to a password protected user account provided by an organization, by multiple entities of the organization is disclosed. In one embodiment, input associated with a training word is received from a user of a user computing device. In some examples, the input may include a sequence of user input entries related to the training word. In some embodiments, metadata associated with the sequence of user input entries is derived and a user input pattern profile is generated based on the metadata. In some embodiments, an authorized user of the organization is identified based at least in part on comparing the received input to the user input pattern profile.
