A light pipe for a vehicle lamp assembly includes a first pipe portion and a second pipe portion. The first pipe portion has a first section that extends between a first end and a second end. A portion of the first section at least partially defines an intersection area. The first pipe portion defines a first optical path extending in a lengthwise direction of the first pipe portion. The second pipe portion has a second section that extends through the intersection area. The second pipe portion defines a second optical path. The second optical path intersects with and extends through the first optical path of the first pipe portion such that the first section and the second section define an angle greater than zero degrees and less than 180 degrees therebetween. The first pipe portion and the second pipe portion a unitarily formed as a single monolithic element.

Vehicle lamp assembly

A vehicle auxiliary lamp unit includes a first circuit board and an elongated light pipe. The first circuit board has a plurality of first light sources and at least one aperture. The elongated light pipe has a proximal end and a distal end. The proximal end is located by the first circuit board and arranged to receive light from a first of the plurality of first light sources. The proximal end of the elongated light pipe includes at least one locating projection that is received by the at least one aperture of the first circuit board.

Vehicle auxiliary lamp unit

A light assembly for a vehicle includes a light unit having a housing and a lens attached to the housing. A cradle is disposed on the housing, and the cradle includes a first guide surface. A body panel includes a cantilevered portion, and the cantilevered portion includes a tab projecting from an interior side of the cantilevered portion. The tab is configured to be slidably disposed adjacent the first guide surface to locate the cantilevered portion relative to the light unit.

A wraparound light assembly for a vehicle. A lens is attached to a housing. A body panel defines an interior vehicle space, and the body panel includes a recessed portion defining an aperture. The housing overlays at least part of the recess. A grommet is disposed in the aperture and extends through the body panel into the interior vehicle space. The grommet defines a receptacle having an opening facing the housing. A projection extends from the housing. The projection is configured to be slidably engaged in the receptacle along an installation axis and to extend into a portion of the receptacle in the interior vehicle space.
