A hydraulic control system includes a linear solenoid valve, an ON-OFF solenoid valve and a hydraulically-operated frictional engagement device. A first hydraulic pressure is regulated by the linear solenoid valve within a predetermined pressure-regulation control range, and is supplied to the frictional engagement device. In a state in which the frictional engagement device is placed in a predetermined engaged state based on the first hydraulic pressure, a second hydraulic pressure, which is higher than the pressure-regulation control range, is supplied from the ON-OFF solenoid valve to the frictional engagement device, such that the frictional engagement device is placed in a fully engaged state with a high engaging torque based on the second hydraulic pressure.

Hydraulic control system

A vehicle drive includes a speed change mechanism connected to a rotary electric machine; an output member connected to the speed change mechanism and wheels; an engagement device changes a state of engagement between an input member connected to an engine and the speed change mechanism; a hydraulic pump driven by the engine or the rotary electric machine; a first pressure control device that controls pressure supplied from the pump and supplies the pressure to the speed change mechanism; a second, separate hydraulic pressure control device that controls the pressure supplied from the pump and supplies the pressure to the engagement device; and a case that houses the rotary electric machine, speed change mechanism, engagement device, and pump. At least the engagement device is housed in a space formed by the case, and the second hydraulic pressure control device is provided at a part of the case forming the space.

Vehicle drive device

In a converter circuit of an electric power conversion device, an adjustment portion divides a voltage of a battery input to a semiconductor module, by a first capacity element and a second capacity element that are connected in series to each other. Then, a middle point between the first capacity element and the second capacity element is connected to a cooler to fix a potential thereof. The electric power conversion device can ensure that a waveform of a surge voltage that is generated on a creepage surface between a lead frame terminal and the cooler has a negative voltage range (a range where an offset voltage is applied).

Power transmission system for hybrid vehicle

A vehicle drive device having a rotating electrical machine, a speed change mechanism, and a case that accommodates the rotating electrical machine speed change mechanism. A first oil storage portion is provided so as to communicate with the speed change mechanism accommodating space. A hydraulic pump that supplies the oil in the first oil storage portion to the speed change mechanism and the rotating electrical machine. A second oil storage portion provided so as to communicate with the rotating electrical machine accommodating space. A discharge oil passage discharges the oil in the second oil storage portion to the first oil storage portion. The discharge oil passage includes a first opening that opens toward the first oil storage portion, and the first opening is provided so that its lower end is located above an oil level in the first oil storage portion during rotation of the hydraulic pump.

A vehicle drive device in which a friction engagement device, a rotary electric machine, and a speed change device are provided on a power transfer path that connects between an input member drivably coupled to an internal combustion engine and an output member drivably coupled to wheels, the elements provided in this order from the input member side.

A hydraulic control device configured with a source pressure generation section, a hydraulic servo for a clutch provided between an engine and a motor, a control solenoid valve that outputs a regulated source pressure to the hydraulic servo, and a switching section that switches a hydraulic passage, which extends between the source pressure generation section and the hydraulic servo to supply the engagement pressure, between a first and second state in which the hydraulic passage has a high conduit resistance compared to the first state at least until the clutch is engaged. The switching section switches the hydraulic passage into the second state during a failure in which the control solenoid valve is de-energized and the source pressure is directly supplied to the hydraulic servo as the engagement pressure, and switches the hydraulic passage into the first state during normal times when the failure does not occur.
