A ligation device includes a first arm, a second arm, a holding tube, an operation wire, a sheath, and a link mechanism having a first link and a second link which are connected to each other and engage the holding tube with the sheath, wherein the link mechanism is configured to be switch between a disengaged configuration in which engagement between the holding tube and the sheath is released and an engaged configuration in which the holding tube is engaged with the sheath due to the operation wire.

In the second configuration, the obstruction and the wire maintain the relative position, the handle closes the arms, and the obstruction is spaced apart from the first wall.

A medical instrument has a capsule; an arm member disposed to protrude from the capsule; an operation wire connected to the arm member; a sheath configured to accommodate the operation wire; and a link configured to connect the sheath with the capsule, wherein the link has an engaging portion including a first surface intersecting with the longitudinal axis; and an engaged portion movable to an opposite position opposite to the first surface and a position spaced away from the first surface in spite of a relative position of the capsule with respect to the sheath, and configured to restrict a separation of the capsule with respect to the sheath when the engaged portion is disposed at the opposition position to contact the first surface, and wherein the capsule is rotatable in response to a rotation force from the sheath when the engaged portion is disposed at the opposition position.

A clip cartridge includes a clip unit having a pressing tube, an arm member and a connection portion. The connection portion can transition between a protrusion configuration and an accommodation configuration. The clip cartridge also includes a housing that can accommodate the clip unit. The housing has a stopper that restricts movement of the connection portion and a release mechanism or a groove that permits movement of the connection portion. The stopper is able to restrict movement of the clip unit by contacting the arm member or the pressing tube.

An applicator capable of operating a clip unit including a first link, a medical apparatus including the applicator and the clip unit, and a method for operating the medical apparatus are disclosed. The applicator includes: a second link capable of engaging with the first link; an operation wire; a sheath capable of accommodating the second link; a slider that is connected to the operation wire and can be operated to move the second link; and a knob. In a state where the slider is in an advanced-most position, the knob can be operated to adjust the length of the wire extending from the slider to the second link between: a first length at which the second link protrudes from the sheath, and a second length that is shorter than the first length, and at which the second link is inside the sheath.

An endoscopic surgical device that includes: a sheath; a manipulator; a manipulation wire; a clip body having a pair of arms, connected to a distal end of the manipulation wire, and configured to be capable of advancing and retracting in accordance with manipulation of the manipulator along with a longitudinal axis of the manipulation wire; a holding tube into which a proximal portion of the clip body is inserted to be capable of advancing and retracting; and a biasing member configured to hold a position of the manipulation wire at an initial position. The clip body is nonrotatable around the longitudinal axis at the initial position. When the manipulation wire is advanced a prescribed amount against a biasing force of the biasing member, the clip body is rotatable around the longitudinal axis, and is allowed adjustment of an opening-closing direction of the pair of arms.

An endoscope treatment tool includes a clip main body which includes a pair of arm portions; a pressing tube through which the clip main body is inserted; a locking portion which is disposed on an inner circumferential surface of a proximal end of the pressing tube; a locked portion which is disposed on the proximal end side of the clip main body; a sheath portion; a linear member connected to the clip main body and inserted through the sheath portion; a stopper portion which is configured to regulate a protrusion length of the linear member with respect to the distal end of the sheath portion; and a connection member which is disposed at a distal end of the linear member such that a connection between the linear member and the clip main body is released by regulating a movement of the clip main body.

An endoscope treatment tool includes: a clip unit having a clip main body which includes first and second arm portions, a pressing tube which is formed in a tube shape, a locking portion which protrudes from an inner circumferential surface of a proximal end of the pressing tube, and a locked portion which protrudes from the clip main body; a linear member connected to the clip unit; a sheath in which the linear member is inserted; and a fracture mechanism connected to a proximal end of the linear member. The fracture mechanism includes a first support member connected to the linear member, a second support member disposed on a proximal end side of the first support member, and a fracturable member disposed between the first support member and the second support member so as to connect the first support member and the second support member.

A hemostatic clip includes: a clip body formed by folding an intermediate section of a belt-like member; and a holding tube. The clip body includes: a first member formed of a first metallic material that is elastically deformable; and a pair of second members that are formed of a second metallic material having a lower elastic strain limit than an elastic strain limit of the first metallic member and are connected to respective both ends of the first member. The holding tube is configured to change an opening width of the clip body by holding part of the clip body in the holding tube.
