Provided are a tire-trimming device and method. The method includes: detecting a profile of a tire outer surface and a position thereof by using a profile sensor while rotating the tire; inputting data detected by the profile sensor into a control unit; when removing the unnecessary rubber components, selecting, from among a plurality of different types of the trimming tool, a trimming tool which is of a type set in the control unit in advance for use in a location on which the unnecessary rubber components are formed; moving the selected trimming tool and the tire relative to one another on the basis of the data detected by the profile sensor; and positioning a tip end section of the trimming tool along the detected profile of the tire outer surface.

Tire-trimming device and method

Provided is a mold cleaning system. On the basis of an identification mark assigned to a mold and detected by a mark detector when cleaning the mold, the mold cleaning system obtains shape data for the molding surface of the mold which is stored in a database, and on the basis of the obtained shape data, the mold cleaning system controls the movement of arms using the control device, moves a laser head along the molding surface thereof while irradiating with a laser beam supplied by a laser oscillator, and as a result, removes the dirt adhered to the molding surface.

Mold cleaning system

Provided is a mold cleaning system. When cleaning a mold, the mold cleaning system acquires three-dimensional image data of a molding surface of the mold by a camera and, on the basis of the acquired image data, the mold cleaning system controls the movement of arms using a control device, moves a laser head along the molding surface while irradiating with a laser beam supplied by a laser oscillator and, as a result, removes dirt adhered to the molding surface.

An inner circumferential length measurement method includes the steps of: disposing a two-dimensional sensor at a predetermined measurement position on an inner side of the circular member placed flat in an unrestrained state on a support so that the two-dimensional sensor faces an inner circumferential surface of the circular member in a non-contact state; rotating the two-dimensional sensor about rotation shaft at a predetermined position on the inner side of the circular member; measuring a separation distance from the two-dimensional sensor to the inner circumferential surface around an entire circumference of the circular member; and calculating an inner circumferential length of the circular member via a calculation unit using the separation distance measured and a distance from the rotation shaft to the two-dimensional sensor in a plan view.

Inner circumferential length measurement method for circular member

Provided is an inner circumferential length measuring device for a circular member, the device having a support with two projection portions projecting from a surface of the support and configured to engage an inner circumferential surface of the circular member. A two-dimensional sensor is disposed facing the inner circumferential surface of the circular member at a predetermined measurement position and is rotatable about a rotation shaft at a predetermined position inward of the circular member, the two-dimensional sensor being configured to measure a separation distance from the two-dimensional sensor to the inner circumferential surface around an entire circumference of the circular member. A calculation unit calculates an inner circumferential length of the circular member using the separation distance and a distance from the rotation shaft to the two-dimensional sensor.

Inner circumferential length measuring device for circular member

An inner circumferential length measuring device for a circular member includes a two-dimensional sensor disposed at a predetermined measurement position facing an inner circumferential surface of a circular member placed flat in an unrestrained state on a support. By the two-dimensional sensor being rotated about a rotation shaft of a predetermined position inward of the circular member, a separation distance from the two-dimensional sensor to the inner circumferential surface is measured by the two-dimensional sensor in a non-contact state with the circular member in a range of an entire circumference of the circular member. A calculation unit calculates an inner circumferential length of the circular member based on the separation distance measured and a distance from the rotation shaft to the two-dimensional sensor.

A method of manufacturing a pneumatic tire includes placing a bladder device including a vulcanization bladder at a holding position outside a mold; inserting the vulcanization bladder in a green tire with a tire axis central position of the green tire and a shaft central position of the vulcanization bladder aligned; aligning a central position in a tire width direction of the green tire and a central position in a shaft direction of the vulcanization bladder; supporting the green tire with the vulcanization bladder by inflating the vulcanization bladder to a predetermined green tire supportable internal pressure; bringing the vulcanization bladder in contact with an inner surface of the green tire; transporting the green tire together with the bladder device to the vulcanization device; setting the green tire with the bladder device in the mold; inflating the vulcanization bladder to a predetermined vulcanization internal pressure; and vulcanizing the green tire.

Method of manufacturing pneumatic tire and system for manufacturing pneumatic tire

When cleaning a mold using a mold cleaning system, three-dimensional image data of a molding surface of the mold is acquired by a camera, movement of arms is controlled by a control device based on the acquired image data, and a laser head is moved along the molding surface while a laser beam provided from a laser oscillator is irradiated to remove contamination adhered to the molding surface. Cleaning is performed on a specific site, using a relatively small laser head, or also using a relatively large laser head, or cleaning is performed using a laser head having a variable laser irradiation width and setting an appropriate laser irradiation width for each site to be cleaned.

Provided are a device and a method for inspecting a cylindrical member. During inspection of a cylindrical member, a degree of widthwise misalignment of a strip-shaped member wound around a molding drum is calculated by a control unit on the basis of detection data from a position sensor and position data of drum-widthwise end faces that are perpendicular to a drum axial center of the molding drum, and the widthwise misalignment of the strip-shaped member is determined to be inside or outside an allowable range on the basis of the calculation result.

Device and method for inspecting cylindrical member

With a tire cleaning system, movement of at least a tire or laser head held on an arm is controlled by a control device, a laser beam provided from a laser oscillator is irradiated onto an inner surface of the tire while relatively moving the laser head along the inner surface of the tire, and contamination such as a mold release agent or the like adhered to the inner surface is removed.

Provided are a method and device for forming a cylindrical member for accurately forming belt-like members into a cylindrical shape without meandering. A pre-winding position sensor detects a position of a member reference line extending in a longitudinal direction of a belt-like member along the entire length of the belt-like member in the longitudinal direction thereof before the belt-like member is placed on a transport conveyor belt, transported to a forming drum, and wound around the forming drum. The belt-like member is wound around the forming drum and formed in a cylindrical shape while the forming drum is relatively moved in the drum width direction with respect to the transport conveyor belt by a controller and the member reference line, based on the detected data and a position data of the drum reference line orthogonal to the drum axial center of the forming drum.
