A power source device includes: a plurality of batteries each including a discharge valve that opens when an internal pressure becomes higher than a set pressure and jets emission gas; outer case that houses these batteries and is composed by providing discharge opening that discharges, to an outside, the emission gas from the discharge valve; and heat-resistant plate that is a part of outer case and is composed by being disposed in a facing attitude in an inside of exhaust surface () composed by providing discharge opening, wherein heat-resistant plate is: provided with, along an outer peripheral edge, energy attenuation gap between the heat-resistant plate itself and an inner surface of the outer case; provided with planar heat radiation gap between the heat-resistant plate itself and an inner surface of the exhaust surface; and composed to cause the emission gas jetted from the discharge valves to pass through energy attenuation gap and heat radiation gap, and to be discharged from discharge opening to an outside.

Power source device

In the battery pack, a circuit board is attached to a battery holder accommodating therein batteries. A first locking portion is provided at each of slidable side edges on both sides of the circuit board parallel to each other. An insertion guide for the circuit board is provided in the battery holder. A pair of elastic extensions slenderly extended include second locking portions to be locked to first locking portions are arranged on both sides of the circuit board to be inserted into an insertion guide. The circuit board is inserted into the insertion guide of the battery holder. The second locking portions are locked by the first locking portions. The circuit board is held at a predetermined position on battery holder.

Battery pack

A battery pack includes battery cell including a discharge valve opened when an internal pressure exceeds a set pressure, and case housing battery cell. Exhaust duct through which a discharge gas is discharged from the discharge valve to an outside of the case is disposed in the case, a discharge side of exhaust duct is opened to the outside of the case, and an inflow side of the exhaust duct is opened to an inside of the case, a diffusion space of the discharge gas is provided inside case, the discharge valve ejects the discharge gas into the diffusion space, and the discharge gas of the diffusion space is discharged to the outside of the case via exhaust duct.

A battery pack includes battery cell including a discharge valve, and case housing battery cell. Case includes a plurality of fume ventilation holes through which discharged gas jetted from the discharge valve is expelled out of the case, and diffusion gap is provided between discharge valve side end surface of battery cell and a case inner surface, with flameproof cover disposed in diffusion gap. Additionally, expansion space for the discharged gas diffused by flameproof cover is provided inside case, and the direction of expelling the discharged gas is changed to a direction intersecting a direction in which the discharged gas is jetted form the discharge valve. Expansion space communicates with diffusion gap and with fume ventilation holes, and a direction changing portion that changes a direction of the flowing gas is provided at corners of the case. In the battery pack, the discharged gas jetted from the discharge valve collides with flameproof cover, fills expansion space via diffusion gap, is changed in direction in expansion space to diffuse into the plurality of fume ventilation holes, and is expelled out of the case.

In the battery pack, battery cell including a discharge valve is housed in case, and flame-retardant cap is disposed at a position facing discharge valve side end surface of battery cell. Flame-retardant cap includes collision plate disposed at a position facing discharge valve side end surface and wall formed around collision plate, the discharge valve of the battery cell and a region in proximity are arranged inside peripheral wall, and reverse ejection gap is provided between battery cell and peripheral wall. An expansion space of the discharge gas flowing in from reverse ejection gap is provided inside case. In the expansion space, the discharge gas ejected from the discharge valve collides with collision plate of flame-retardant cap, and fills the expansion space via diffusion gap and reverse ejection gap.

Battery pack including flame-retardant cap

A battery pack includes a battery block including battery cells connected to one another and a case accommodating the battery block. Each battery cell includes a discharge valve on an end surface of the cell which is configured to open when an internal pressure exceeds a predetermined pressure. The battery cells are arranged on a straight line such that respective end surfaces of the calls face each other. The battery block has a discharge gap between the end surfaces of the cells facing each other which is configured to guide exhaust gas from the discharge valve The case includes lower case, an upper case, a heat dissipation plate arranged in lower case and between the lower case and battery block, and a bendable heat-resistant cover protruding from a side edge of the heat dissipation plate and arranged at a position covering an opening of discharge gap.

In a battery pack, a heat-resistant cap is coupled to an end of a battery block including battery cells each having a discharge valve on an end surface thereof and arranged in plural rows. A valve-side end surface of battery cell is arranged at a first end of the battery block to which heat-resistant cap is coupled. Heat-resistant cap includes closing plate providing a first discharge gap between the closing plate and end surface of the battery block, a peripheral wall coupled to a periphery of closing plate and providing a second discharge gap between the peripheral wall and an outer circumference of the battery block, a partition wall disposed between end surfaces of adjacent battery cells and partitioning the first discharge gap into portions at end surfaces of battery cells.

A battery pack includes battery cell including the exhaust valve that opens when an internal pressure exceeds a set pressure and case housing battery cell. Case includes inner case housing battery cell and outer case incorporating inner case, inner case includes a plurality of inner smoke vent holes through which the exhaust gas ejected from the exhaust valve passes, and outer case includes a plurality of outer smoke vent holes through which the exhaust gas including passed through inner smoke vent holes passes. In a state where inner case is disposed in outer case, inner smoke vent holes and outer smoke vent holes are disposed at positions not facing each other, and inner smoke vent holes and outer smoke vent holes are opened at positions allowing the exhaust gas to pass in different directions.

A battery pack includes battery cell having a discharge valve opened when an internal pressure exceeds a set pressure, and case housing battery cell. Case has opening, and opening is blocked by porous plate made of resin. Porous plate has a plurality of through-holes, an expansion gap of a discharge gas is formed by stacking a plurality of the porous plates, through-holes provided in each of porous plates are arranged at non-facing positions not facing through-holes provided in adjacent another porous plate, and the discharge gas of the discharge valve passes through through-holes provided in porous plates and the expansion gap and is discharged to an outside of the case.

Battery pack includes: a plurality of chargeable/dischargeable cylindrical cells; battery holder in which the plurality of cylindrical cells are disposed; and thermally conductive resin that closely adheres to cylindrical cells, which are stored in battery holder, in a thermally coupled state above battery holder. Battery holder includes: bottom plate including a plurality of holding grooves in which cylindrical cells are disposed; and partition walls that are disposed between holding grooves and between adjacent cylindrical cells. Partition walls are lower than the diameter of cylindrical cells disposed in holding grooves, thermally conductive resin is disposed between adjacent cylindrical cells above partition walls, and thermally conductive resin interconnects adjacent cylindrical cells.
