An air filter assembly and use thereof for filtration of air in wet or damp conditions, said air filter assembly comprising: an air filter comprising a front frame defining at least one rectangular aperture for receiving an air flow to be filtered; characterized in that said air filter assembly comprises a deflector element extending alongside edge portion of the rectangular aperture and adapted an to deflect an air flow passing through the rectangular aperture away from an adjacent inside surface of the air filter; and a liquid drain arranged such that liquid collected at said adjacent inside surface of the air filter can exit the air filter through said liquid drain.

The present disclosure relates to pleated filter element comprising: a pleated filter media comprising a major upstream face and a major downstream face and comprising a plurality of oppositely-facing pleats extending between said major upstream face and said major downstream face such that the pleated filter media comprises a first corrugated edge and a second corrugated edge and a first noncorrugated edge and a second noncorrugated edge, wherein the pleated filter media comprises a main pleat section and a first edge pleat section at the first noncorrugated edge, wherein the length of the first edge pleat section is less than 50% of the total length of the pleated filter element between the first noncorrugated edge and the second noncorrugated edge, and/or wherein the maximum pleat height in the first edge pleat section is lower than the maximum pleat height in the main pleat section. The present disclosure further relates to an air filter comprising the pleated filter element in a casing.

A test probe for filter leakage detection. The test probe () has an elongated housing () with a longitudinal inlet portion for admitting gas into a first chamber of the housing through an inlet of the inlet portion, and an outlet portion for letting gas out of a second chamber of the housing through an outlet of the outlet portion. Further, the test probe has an intermediate element comprising a throttling portion. The intermediate element is arranged between the inlet portion and the outlet portion, wherein the first and second chambers are fluidly interconnected via the throttling portion, wherein the throttling portion is elongated and extends longitudinally of the housing, wherein the throttling portion is arranged to cause a smaller vacuum upstream of the throttling portion than downstream of the throttling portion when gas is sucked through the test probe.

The present invention relates to a filter frame for receiving a media pack, the filter frame comprising a front plate, and first and second gable plates arranged at opposite ends of the front plate. The front plate comprises a groove at each of the ends and a front edge portion of each gable plate is received in a respective one of the grooves. Each gable plate comprises a retainment member arranged at the front edge portion, which retainment member has been engaged with a complementary retainment member of the front plate. The invention also relates to a filter assembly and a method for assembling a filter frame.

Filter frame

The present invention relates to a backing net for a media pack. The backing net comprises a plurality of longitudinal beams and at least one vane and the longitudinal beam has first and second ends and is arranged to be mounted to the media pack in the longitudinal direction. The vane is attached to longitudinal beams and arranged to extend in the lateral direction of the media pack and adapted to direct an air flow passing through the backing net in a preferred direction. The invention further relates to a media pack with a backing net and a V-type filter having a plurality of media packs.
