A mold material introducing apparatus for introducing mold materials into a mold includes material supplying means for supplying a predetermined amount of mold material into the mold, moving means for moving the mold relative to the material supplying means and vice versa, and control means for outputting command signals to those means. The control means divides the inside of the mold into segments and assigns addresses to those segments, and controls the material supplying means and the moving means so that a predetermined amount of a predetermined mold material is located at each of the address locations. Accordingly, the mold materials of different kinds that are led into the mold are dispersed in a predetermined state.

Method for introducing mold materials into a mold

A disc brake of a type incorporating therein a hydraulic pressure generator, the disc brake having a pair of friction pads disposed on both sides of a disc to be braked to confront each other across the disc; a guide shaft; and a caliper which is provided with a thrusting piston incorporated therein for pushing one of the friction pads against the disc with hydraulic pressure and is arranged to push the other friction pad against the disc as said caliper is moved on the guide shaft by a reaction to the thrusting action. The hydraulic pressure generator is disposed within the guide shaft and is provided with a cylinder which is formed within the guide shaft, a hydraulic pressure generating piston which slidably engages the cylinder and a hydraulic pressure generating chamber. The hydraulic pressure generating chamber communicates, through a passage means, with a hydraulic operation chamber which exerts hydraulic pressure on the thrusting piston. The hydraulic pressure generating piston is operated by an external force to raise hydraulic pressure within the hydraulic pressure generating chamber for performing a braking action by driving the thrusting piston with this hydraulic pressure.

Disc brake of hydraulically operated type

An antiskid control system for vehicles which prevents the vehicle body from making irregular turns due to locking of wheels when the brake is applied. The brake pressure is reduced when the commencement of a locked state of the wheels is detected. On the other hand, a minimum value of the wheel velocity is memorized; the memorized value is compared with the wheel velocity; and through this comparison, the time for stopping the brake pressure reducing action is determined.
