A system and method for a back stack in a multi-application environment, wherein the method comprises adding an entry to a last-in-first-out (LIFO) data structure, the entry comprising application state information descriptive of an application state of a software application and display state information descriptive of a display state of a display surface of a touch screen device, adjusting a LIFO data structure pointer to reflect a revised LIFO data structure state resulting from the adding the entry, receiving a back button actuation indication, in response to receiving the back button actuation indication, restoring the software application to the application state and restoring the display surface to the display state, and readjusting the LIFO data structure pointer to reflect an original LIFO data structure state that existing prior to the adding the entry.

System and method for a back stack in a multi-application environment

A display presents information with pixels driven at overdrive voltages set based upon a user configuration and sensed environmental conditions. Varied overdrive voltages provide adaptable display responses with proportional power consumption so that power consumption is reduced where visual images of a display content have reduced need for rapid display response. For example, reduced bandwidth availability that impacts display resolution allows reduced overdrive voltages that scale to visual content resolution.

A client hosted virtualization system includes a full volume encryption (FVE) storage device, a processor, and non-volatile memory with BIOS code and virtualization manager code. A method includes storing a credential object for a user to an encrypted silo on an information handling system. The credential object operates to authenticate the user to use an application. The method also includes copying the encrypted silo from the information handling system to a second information handling system, retrieving at the second information handling system the credential object from the copy of the encrypted silo, and authenticating the user to use the application on the second information handling system using the credential object.

In one embodiment, a method includes providing a biometric framework in a native environment thereof. The biometric framework includes a biometric service, a biometric device interface (BDI), and a BDI driver. The biometric service includes a biometric unit relative to a biometric sensor.
