Embodiments of a computer system, a method and a computer-program product (e.g., software) for use with the computer system are described. These embodiments may allow users to create or maintain (including repair and validation), which collect user information from a web page. In particular, using a web browser extension, one or more users' actions while navigating or interacting with the web page are captured. This captured user-action information may specify the layout of the web page, including data locations and/or types of data. Then, using the captured user-action information, a new scraping script can be generated or, based at least in part on determined changes to the web page, an existing scraping script can be maintained.

Embodiments of a proxy device, a system that includes the proxy device, a process, and a computer-program product (i.e., software) for use with the proxy device are described. This proxy device may be used to restrict access to account information during communication between a financial institution and a software engineer, such as a third-party software developer. In particular, the proxy device, which is an intermediary between the financial institution and the software engineer, may replace actual account information with dummy or encoded account information during communication from the financial institution to the software engineer. Similarly, the proxy device may replace the dummy or encoded account information with the actual account information during communication from the software engineer to the financial institution. In this way, the proxy device may facilitate software development while maintaining security of the actual account information.

Methods, systems, and articles of manufacture for implementing user access to remote resources residing on an external domain. Various implementations include authenticating and authorizing a user on a first system and receiving user request to access remote resources. The first system invokes processes or modules to initiate a new session to perform auto logon on behalf of the user on a second system by using stored user's credentials and subdomain delegation techniques without user intervention. The second system authenticates and authorizes this new session to allow user access to remote resources residing thereupon. The first system further prepares the user's system to take over the new session by setting cookie(s) and also by redirecting the URL so the user may continue to use the new session to access the desired remote resources residing on the second system.
