An example method includes detecting an event in an electronic system. The electronic system includes an electronic component and a switched mode power supply. The electronic component draws an amount of power from the switched mode power supply during operation. In response to detecting the event, the electronic component is operated to cause the electronic component to change the amount of power that the electronic component draws from the switched mode power supply. The change in the amount of power that the electronic component draws causes the switched mode power supply to output a signal that is evidence of the event.

Communicating an event to a remote entity

The present disclosure relates to position, navigation and timing (PNT) methods, systems, and transmitters. A method comprises receiving radio-frequency (RF) signals from a plurality of virtual transmitters and determining PNT information of a target object based on information obtained from the RF signals. A system comprises a plurality of virtual transmitters and a receiver. The plurality of virtual transmitters is configured to transmit radio-frequency (RF) signals that include PNT information. The receiver is configured to determine PNT information of a target object based on the PNT information. A transmitter comprises a high-frequency (HF) carrier generator, a waveform generator, and an antenna system. The HF carrier generator generates an HF carrier signal. The waveform generator generates a waveform that includes PNT information. The antenna system transmits the HF carrier signal to generate a subject ionospheric duct. The antenna system is further configured to transmit the waveform through the ionospheric duct.

Position, navigation, and timing (PNT) methods and systems

Method and apparatus for a small arms training system. In exemplary embodiments, a training system includes a control system, shooter systems that can include a user interface, and a target system that collects projectile position information in relation to a target. In one embodiment, the systems are linked via a mesh radio network and are configured to process GPS information for rapid and accurate positioning of the shooter in relation to the target.

Methods and apparatus for small arms training

An illustrative adaptive radio communications system comprises a cluster of waveform and application processor entities coupled and a plurality of transceivers. The transceivers convert radio frequency (RF) signals into digital in-phase and quadrature (I/Q) data, which is sent to the waveform processor entities via a network fabric. The waveform processor entities perform low-level waveform processing and the application processor entities perform high-level, distributed signal processing. The system and related methods are capable of processing multiple programmable waveforms of varying complexity.
