A plurality of legs extend from the body portion, each of the legs is adapted to be received in a mounting opening formed in the PC board. Each of the spaced legs may include a foot portion adapted for securing the body to the circuit board.

An apparatus and method for retaining a length of fiber optic cable to a circuit board includes a body portion. An apparatus and method for providing radial alignment of a housing mounted on a circuit board is provided. A mounting leg portion extends outward from a mounting surface of the housing. The mounting leg portion has a body portion, an end portion, and a radial alignment portion. The radial alignment portion extends outward from the mounting surface. The radial alignment portion has a circumference, and is adapted to be received in a mounting opening formed in the circuit board. The radial alignment portion prevents radial movement of the mounting leg portion with respect to the circuit board. The end portion of the mounting leg portion includes a snap portion for engaging the circuit board and securing the mounting leg portion to the circuit board.

An apparatus and method for shielding electromagnetic interference (EMI) includes a cover having a body portion and an angled flange portion, the angled flange portion substantially surrounding a perimeter portion of the body portion to allow a force applied in a direction substantially perpendicular to the body portion to deflect the angled flange portion and bias the angled flange portion against a contact surface to form a positive contact between the angled flange portion and the contact surface thereby shielding EMI.

An apparatus and method for covering an open end of a cable trough mounted in a cabinet for housing electronic devices includes a planar member for covering the opening of the cable trough. The planar member includes a front side, a back side, and an outer edge. The planar member also includes a perforated portion and a perimeter portion. The perforated portion is substantially surrounded by the perimeter portion. The back side of the planar member includes an adhesive material for securing the planar member to an outer wall of the cabinet. The perforated portion may also include a tab portion to allow for the removal of the perforated portion to allow access to the cable trough.

A method of orientating an apparatus for housing fans includes the step of providing a mounting body portion and first, second and third fan housings. The sum of the lengths of the fan housings are greater than the length of the mounting body portion. The fan housings include a cable trough. The method also includes the step of orienting each of the cable troughs towards a region of the mounting body portion bounded by each of the fan housings.
