A method for restoring a degraded pipeline, the method comprising: removing a degraded part of an inner flow pipe of a pipeline leaving a space between two spaced-apart sections of the inner flow pipe; positioning a new pipe in the space; connecting the new pipe to the two spaced-apart sections of the inner flow pipe thereby re-establishing a flow channel through the inner flow pipe; the new pipe having a core pipe with a first strengthening wrap thereon, a second strengthening wrap around the first strengthening wrap, and a protective outer wrap on the second strengthening wrap.

Systems and methods for making pipe, and method of installing the pipe in a pipeline

Methods and systems for in situ pipe lining

An apparatus for wrapping material onto and around a pipe, the apparatus including a shaft, the shaft rotatable by a driving apparatus, a payout core containing material to be wrapped onto a pipe, the payout core releasably mounted on the shaft, a deflection arm assembly secured to the shaft for rotation by the shaft, rotation of the shaft rotating the deflection arm assembly with respect to the payout core so that the deflection arm assembly takes material from the payout core and wraps the material onto a pipe adjacent the deflection arm assembly, each of the shaft and deflection arm assembly having a central opening through which is movable the pipe as the pipe is being wrapped.

Systems and methods for making pipe liners

A thermoplastic pipe liner assembly and method for installation in a pipeline by pulling the pipe liner assembly through the pipeline in a temporarily folded condition wherein the thermoplastic pipe liner assembly has a core inner liner, an outer liner with optional grooving for annular communication, orbitally wound strength and intermediate layers, two or more tension deformation members to sustain the tension needed to pull the pipe liner assembly through the pipeline for several miles and to assist in maintaining the temporarily folded condition. Also included are optional instrumentation circuits. Also disclosed is a method for the manufacture of the pipe liner assembly and concurrent installation in a pipeline.

Pipe liner apparatus and method

A multi-layered liner for lining a pipeline which has an external jacket, an interior liner, a woven intermediate layer between the external jacket and the interior liner. At least one optical fiber is in the woven intermediate liner for purposes of monitoring stress or for communication, and a capacitance leak detection circuit is also in the multi-layered liner for the purpose of detecting leaks in the multi-layered liner. Also included is the method of monitoring a pipeline for stress or leakage by use of a stress detector connected to an optic fiber in a multi-layered liner installed in the pipeline and a leak detector connected to a capacitance circuit in a multi-layered liner installed in a pipeline.
