In one example, a system to fill or drain a reservoir in a printer includes a controller to set a unit to a total capacity of a container divided by an integer greater than 1, a container sensor to sense the container connected to the printer, and a pump to pump, in set unit increments, at least one unit of a printing agent from the container to the reservoir or from the reservoir to the container. In one example, a memory having processor executable instructions to generate a graphical user interface displaying, during the transfer of a printing agent from a container to a reservoir in a printer or from the reservoir to the container, an animation showing a changing volume of the printing agent in the reservoir and a corresponding changing volume of the printing agent in the container.

A method of recirculating printing fluid that includes with a first pump upstream of an internal reservoir, pumping printing fluid into the reservoir and with a second pump downstream of the internal reservoir and upstream of a pen assembly, pumping printing fluid from the reservoir.

In some examples, an apparatus can include a supply reservoir including print substance, and a rotary valve having a central rotary axis, where the central rotary axis is perpendicular to a height of the supply reservoir, where the rotary valve is in a closed position such that the print substance is unable to be supplied from the supply reservoir.

In some examples, a controller may include a processing resource and a memory resource storing non-transitory machine-readable instructions that are executed to cause the processing resource to direct a clock signal of an imaging device to a fill port via a detection circuit of the imaging device, determine based on a state of a switch included in the detection circuit whether the fill port is open or closed, determine based on the state of the switch indicating the fill port is closed a status of the fill port, and in response to the status of the fill port being closed, determine based on a voltage of the clock signal whether the fill port is connected to a colorant container.

An example printing device may comprise an indicator to convey information to a user, a print substance reservoir to house a print substance, where the print substance reservoir is communicatively coupled to a fill port, a sensor to determine when a refill container is connected to the fill port, a processing resource, and a non-transitory machine-readable medium storing instructions executable by the processing resource to transmit signals to the indicator responsive to an indication that the sensor has detected the refill container connected to the fill port, where the signals correspond to the information to be conveyed by the indicator, and authenticate the refill container.

In one example, a fluid interconnect to exchange liquid in a first container with air in a second container that is unvented during an exchange. The interconnect includes a first conduit, a second conduit, and an air flow director to direct air in a second container toward the second conduit during an exchange when a first container and a second container are connected to the interconnect.

An extraction pump of a printing device fluidically connected to a reservoir of the printing device is set to a specified rotational velocity. A pulse-width modulation (PWM) value of the extraction pump correspondingly increases until the extraction pump rotates at the specified rotational velocity. While the power of the extraction pump is monitored, a power of a supply pump of the printing device fluidically connected between the extraction pump and the reservoir is continually increased; the power of the extraction pump correspondingly decreases to maintain rotation of the extraction pump at the specified rotational velocity. Responsive to the power of the extraction pump decreasing to a characterized value for the specified rotational velocity, the power of the supply pump ceases being increased.

In some examples, an apparatus can include a valve body including a valve body print substance channel and a valve body air channel, a valve socket shaped to receive the valve body, where the valve socket includes a valve socket print substance channel and a valve socket air channel, where the valve body is in a closed position such that the valve body print substance channel and the valve socket print substance channel are misaligned, and the valve body air channel and the valve socket air channel are misaligned.

In some examples, an apparatus can include a pawl including an anti-rotation surface and a spring, and a valve housing including a wedge, where the spring biases the pawl to a first position in response to the valve housing being at a closed position such that the wedge of the valve housing contacts the anti-rotation surface of the pawl to prevent rotation of the valve housing at the first position of the pawl.

A printing subassembly is disclosed. A printing subassembly includes a frame, a printbar coupled to the frame, and a lift mechanism coupled to the printbar. The lift mechanism selectively moves the printbar with respect to the frame. A fluid receiving system is coupled to the printbar.

According to one example, there is provided a three-dimensional printing system that comprises first and second build material supports adjacent to opposite sides of a build platform, when installed, a distributor to distribute build material, and a spreader for spreading build material. The three-dimensional printing system also comprises a controller to control the distributor to form a pile of build material before a first side of the build platform, to control the spreader to spread across the build platform and to form a pile of excess build material beyond a second side of the build platform, to control the spreader to move to the other side of the pile of excess build material, and to control the spreader to spread the pile of excess build material across the build platform to form a pile of excess build material on the first side of the build platform.

An example printing device include a frame, a printbar, a lift mechanism, and a lock. The lift mechanism is operably coupled to move the printbar from a printing position to a capping position along a printbar path of travel with respect to the frame. The lock is operably coupled to the frame to releasably engage the printbar in the capping position and disengage the printbar and permit movement to the printing position.

A replaceable printing subassembly is disclosed. The replaceable printing subassembly includes a printbar. A fluid delivery system including a pump is fluidically coupled to the printbar. A frame is coupled to the fluid delivery system. The replaceable printing subassembly also includes a lift mechanism having an actuator to selectively move the printbar with respect to the frame.
