Collapsible trailer for an automobile vehicle

A vertically stowable modular multi-purpose trailer is provided. The trailer includes a forward support section including a first tubular frame having a main body portion with a first upper platform and rear interface side, and forward trailer neck; a pair of caster wheels attached proximate said rear interface; and a first planar deck substantially covering the first upper platform. The trailer further includes a rear support section including a second tubular frame having a second upper platform and a forward interface; and a second planar deck substantially covering the second upper platform. A pair of hinge assemblies interconnecting rear interface and said forward interface. The trailer is adapted to be configured in a deployed configuration, wherein the forward support section and rear support section are longitudinally positioned next to each other forming a generally horizontally oriented common planar platform for supporting a payload. The trailer is further adapted to be configured in a vertically stowed configuration, wherein the forward support section and rear support section are adapted to be folded about the pair of hinge assemblies such that the forward support section and rear support section are latitudinally positioned next to each other in a generally vertical orientation.

Vertically stowable modular multi-purpose trailer

A portable tubular motorcycle lift is provided which utilizes a scissor frame configuration. The scissor frame includes an inner lifting structure and an outer lifting structure rotatably hinged about a common center fulcrum. An upper cradle support is attached to the inner and outer lifting structures. The motorcycle lift has a deployed configuration and a folded, stowable non-deployed configuration which allows the lift to be transported similar to a dolly. To provide the required forces to lift a large motorcycle, an articulated lifting system which includes a jacking device, lifting arm, and linkage arm, is integrated within the inner and outer lifting structures. Other features of the motorcycle lift include a bracing member, rear support section, removable ramp, well chock, remote jacking system, remote pressure release feature, and removable and positionable auxiliary jacking device positioned with the upper cradle support.

Portable motorcycle lift

An interbrace is provided for reducing torquing, twisting, and pivoting between a V-twin engine and a generally separate motorcycle transmission. A first embodiment of the interbrace includes a forward engine flange portion, a rearward transmission end cap portion which functions as a transmission end cap, and a connecting portion interconnecting the engine flange portion and the transmission end portion. A second embodiment of the interbrace includes a forward engine flange portion, a rearward transmission end plate flange portion, and a connecting portion interconnecting said engine flange portion and said transmission end plate flange portion.

An intake manifold for a four-cycle internal combustion engine with multiple stages to reduce imbalances in volumetric efficiency and air/fuel ratio. The intake manifold utilizes at least two ram stages coupled by a plenum chamber. The first stage includes a ram tube that carries the air/fuel mixture from the carburetor, or throttle body to the plenum chamber. The second stage includes at least two ram tubes that carry the air/fuel mixture from the plenum to a plurality of intake valves through cylinder head intake ports. The plenum chamber acts as a buffer between each intake valve and the carburetor or throttle body. The air/fuel mixture enters the first stage ram tube and passes into the plenum chamber. These gases then pass into either one of the second stage ram tubes, depending on which cylinder is at its intake stroke. By drawing the air/fuel mixture from the plenum instead of directly from the first stage ram tube, differences in the air/fuel ratio and volumetric efficiency are minimized. This is because the transient differences in the conditions that exist within the first stage ram are reduced within the plenum chamber.

A motorcycle gas tank cover comprising a sheet of material shaped to cover a stock gas tank to modify the appearance of the size and shape of the tank. The gas tank cover is attachable to the gas tank by connectors and fasteners which secure the gas tank in place. The appearance of the gas tank is modified without removing or replacing the gas tank. The present invention provides a method and apparatus to frequently modify the appearance of motorcycle gas tank and the total look of the motorcycle that does not require replacing any motorcycle parts.

Method of attaching a motorcycle gas tank cover

A motorcycle rear wheel frame is pivotally mounted to the motorcycle main frame. A shaft is positioned on a pivot axis of the rear wheel frame and the main frame of the motorcycle. Rigidly attached to the shaft is one end of a leaf spring. The other end of the leaf spring contacts a transverse cross member of the swing arm so that pivotal movement of said rear frame with respect to the main frame is primarily absorbed by the leaf spring.
