A marker for burying adjacent an underground structure such that a location of the underground structure can be identified from above a ground surface. The marker comprises a housing, a gimbal beacon retention device pivotally disposed within the housing, and a beacon device carried by the gimbal beacon retention device. The gimbal beacon retention device is structured and operable to orient the beacon device in a desired orientation relative to a ground surface regardless of the orientation of the housing relative to the ground surface.

Self-orienting buried marker

A marker for burying adjacent an underground structure such that a location of the underground structure can be identified from above a ground surface. The marker comprises a housing, a self-orienting beacon retention device disposed within the housing. The self-orienting beacon retention device comprises a coil bobbin, and an inductance-capacitance beacon device carried by the self-orienting beacon retention device. A coil of the LC beacon device is disposed around an exterior surface of the coil bobbin. The self-orienting beacon retention device is structured and operable to orient the coil bobbin and the inductor coil in a desired orientation relative to a ground surface regardless of the orientation of the housing relative to the ground surface.

Waste container lid assemblies configured for attachment to a base having a lid body and cap portion slidably connected by a tether. The lid body having an opening sized to accept medical waste and restrict access to prevent individuals from reaching into the waste container through the opening. A slot is in the lid body to permit slidable movement of the tether through the slot such the cap can be moved from a resting position in which the opening is configured for receiving waste to a closed position such that the cap portion covers the opening.

A ball tee for batting practice has a base assembly including a base, a post cup pivotally attached to the base, and at least one spring biasing the post cup into an upright position. A post assembly has a lower end inserted into the post cup. The spring causes the post assembly to return to the upright position after the post assembly is struck and deflected by a bat. The base assembly may include a base plate, a spring bracket attached to the base plate, and an axle extending through the spring bracket, through the spring, and through an axle hole in the post cup. The post assembly may have two or more tubes that allow the height of the post assembly to be telescopically adjusted.

In one aspect, a waste container lid having a closure part and a cap part connected with a hinge, a releasable lock structure and at least one permanent lock structure. In another aspect, a waste container with waste container lid having first closure retention structure and a second closure retention structure that permits the cap to remain opened in a plurality of positions.
