A filament feeding device () for use in 3D-printing comprising a first feeding wheel () configured to rotate with a first rotational shaft () and a second feeding wheel () configured to rotate with a second rotational shaft (). The first and second feeding wheels () are separated by a separation distance so as to allow feeding of a filament material received between said first and second filament wheels (). The filament feeding device further comprises an adjuster element () movable between a first distinct position () setting said separation distance to a first predetermined distance, and into a second distinct position () setting said separation distance to a second predetermined distance, and wherein said second predetermined separation distance is larger than said first predetermined separation distance. Further, a 3D-printer comprising such a filament feeding device is herein disclosed.

Filament feeding adjustment device

A manual gear shifter assembly includes a shifter housing, a shift lever pivotally mounted to the shifter housing displaceable in a select direction to move between at least a first shift gate and a second shift gate, and in at least one shift direction for shifting the gears of the transmission, a shift cable coupled to the shift lever and the transmission, a blocker mounted in the shifter housing and operatively cooperating with the shift lever, a select lever pivotally mounted to the shifter housing with the select lever cooperating with the shift lever to allow displacement of the shift lever in the select direction to move between the shift gates, and a solenoid disposed in the shifter housing and cooperating with the blocker to physically block the displacement of the shift lever into a predetermined gear for inhibiting shifting of the transmission during a predetermined condition.

Manual gear shifter assembly

A gear change actuator () including first and second rotary members () each rotatable in opposite first and second directions, the rotary members () engaged with a select unit (), which is engaged with an output member () having an output axis. The select unit () has opposite first and second input motions, and opposite third and fourth input motions, induced by simultaneous rotation of the first and second rotary members (. The select unit () has opposite first and second output movements that are transmutations of the select unit () first and second input motions, respectively. The select unit () also has opposite third and fourth output movements that are transmutations of the select unit third and fourth input motions, respectively. The output member () has movements, respectively imparted by the select unit () output movements, that are one of rotationally about the output axis and axially along the output axis.

Gear change actuator

A shift fork assembly () including a shift rail member () having a slot () defined therein and a shift rail axis (), and a fork member () mounted in the slot and carried by the shift rail member. The fork member and shift rail member have movement relative to each other. The fork member has pivoting motion relative to the shift rail member about a pivot axis () that extends substantially perpendicularly relative to the shift rail axis, and the pivot axis is adapted to extend substantially between the shift rail axis and a gear axis (). Also a method for assembling a shift fork assembly () including the steps of: introducing a finger () of a fork member () into a slot () in a shift rail member (); interfitting the fork and shift rail members by disposing a received portion () of one into a receiving portion () of the other and capturing the received portion in the receiving portion; positioning a stop member () relative to a first one of the shift rail and fork members; establishing a supporting contact site between the shift rail and fork members with the stop member; and capturing the second one of the shift rail and fork members between limits of motion relative to the first one of the shift rail and fork members.

Shift fork assembly

A shifter assembly for providing mechanical and electronic actuation to a transmission and a method of operating the same is disclosed. A shift lever is pivotable about a first axis in a first mode for providing mechanical actuation, and a second mode for providing electronic actuation to the transmission. An arm is pivotable about the first axis concurrently with the shift lever in at least the first mode. The arm includes a first and second engagement surface. The shifter assembly includes a cam pivotable about a second axis between a first and second position. The first engagement surface urges the cam to move between the first and second positions as the shift lever pivots in the first mode. The second engagement surface abuts the cam as the shift lever pivots in the second mode such that the arm pivots about the first axis while the cam remains stationary.

Shifter assembly for providing mechanical and electronic actuation to a transmission of a vehicle and a method of operating the shifter assembly

A gearshift assembly for a motor vehicle includes a gearshift lever configured to engage a detent unit to select one of a plurality of gearshift positions in an operative position. The gearshift lever can be folded into a non-operative position by disengaging a locking mechanism from the detent unit, when the gearshift lever is in the neutral position. The non-operative position is selected by pressing a fold button, which causes a fold rod to engage the detent unit, and prevents accidental shifting of gears in the folded non-operative position.

Folding gearshift mechanism for motor vehicle

The present invention relates to an operating device with a control lever ( ) and an operating console ( ), and provided with two pivot axes about which the lever can be alternately pivoted relative to the operating console, for adjustment between a number of operating positions. The operating positions of the control lever about said pivot axes are intended for transmission into a corresponding operating condition of a device to be operated. Said pivot axes are created by four support members ( ) for the control lever ( ) in the operating console, in pairs defining each one of the pivot axes for the control lever. The support members are biased towards their respective paths ( ) defined in the operating device, in which paths the support members, alternately and in pairs, are blocked and operable, respectively, to allow control movement of the lever.

Control device

A control device is disclosed comprising a console, a control lever mounted on the console, a pivot for moving the control lever relative to the console between at least two different operating modes, one in which the control lever can be moved between a first group of operating positions and another in which the control lever can be moved between a second group of operating positions. In the first operating mode, the control lever can be swiveled in a reference plane, and in the second operating mode the control lever can be elevated relative to the reference plane and can be moved like a joystick between the second group of operating positions.

Maneuvering device

Maneuvering apparatus is disclosed including a console, a maneuvering lever disposed relative to the console and movable between a plurality of predetermined positions, a planar detector mounted with respect to the console, a code bar mounted parallel to the planar detector for interacting with the planar detector based upon the relative positions of the code bar and the planar detector, the planar detector adapted to detect the relative position of the code bar, and a connector for connecting the maneuvering lever to the code bar whereby movement of the maneuvering lever between the plurality of positions causes the code bar to move substantially only in a single plane parallel to the detector.

Apparatus for controlling the gears of a motor vehicle comprising a pivotable gear lever for pivoting between gear positions corresponding to the gear positions for the motor vehicle transmission, a primary hydraulic piston/cylinder arrangement coupled to the gear lever, a secondary hydraulic piston/cylinder arrangement coupled to the gearbox of the motor vehicle, and a hydraulic circuit hydraulically communicating with the primary and secondary hydraulic piston and cylinder arrangements and including a flow limiter valve with an open position in which the hydraulic flow in the hydraulic circuit is not limited and a plurality of closed positions for controllably limiting the hydraulic flow in the hydraulic circuit whereby movement between the various gear positions for the motor vehicle is controlled.

Apparatus is disclosed for controlling the operational states of a motor vehicle comprising a maneuvering console including a maneuvering lever, a pivot hinge for the maneuvering lever so that the maneuvering lever can be actuated into a number of positions corresponding to the operational states of the motor vehicle, the pivot hinge being mounted to permit pivoting of the maneuvering lever with respect to the maneuvering console about an unlimited number of spatial pivot axes, a plurality of hydraulic pistons and cylinders mechanically coupled to the maneuvering lever for selectively limiting the pivoting movement of the maneuvering lever, a plurality of sensors for detecting a maneuvering force applied to the maneuvering lever and the position of the maneuvering lever so that the pivoting movement of the maneuvering lever can be selectively limited by the plurality of hydraulic pistons and cylinders based upon those detections, and a controller for controlling the plurality of hydraulic pistons and cylinders thereby permitting selective movement of the maneuvering lever based on control conditions set by the controller.

Apparatus for controlling the operational states of motor vehicle gears including a console, a lever mounted in the console whereby the lever can be articulated between a plurality of maneuverable positions corresponding to the operational states of the motor vehicle gears, the console comprising a housing and including a first groove and at least one track on at least one of the inner surfaces of the housing, a first support defining a first pivot hinge for the lever including a ball and socket joint whereby the first support permits the lever to pivot about an unlimited number of spatial pivot axes with respect to the housing, a second support defining a second pivot hinge, the first pivot hinge and the second pivot hinge defining a first pivot axis, whereby the lever can be maneuvered about the first pivot axis, and a third support having a longitudinal axis, the second support including a first pin mounted along the first pivot axis and prestressed toward the first groove, and the third support including a second pin mounted along the longitudinal axis of the third support and prestressed towards the at least one track.
