A controller system including a first controller including one or more input controls and a connector. The controller system also can include a second controller including one or more input controls and a connector. The controller system additionally can include a bridge including a first connector at a first end of the bridge, a second connector at a second end of the bridge, and one or more hub connectors between the first end and the second end of the bridge. Each of the first connector, the second connector, and the one or more hub connectors can be a first connector type. Each of the connectors of the first controller and the second controller can be a second connector type configured to connect in a positionally secure manner with the first connector type. A case for a tablet computing device can include a first cover configured to hold the tablet computing device. The first cover can include a first attachment mechanism. The case can include a second cover. The second cover can include a keyboard, one or more second attachment mechanisms, and/or one or more sensors. The first attachment mechanism can be configured to couple with the one or more second attachment mechanisms to hold the case in an open keyboard configuration such that the keyboard is uncovered and a screen of the tablet computing device is uncovered. The keyboard can be turned on when the one or more sensors detect that the case is in the open keyboard configuration.

A connectivity hub enabling multiple peripheral devices to be connected with a computer includes a stationary base station functioning as a connectivity hub and a removable connectivity hub functioning by itself as a travel connectivity hub. Thus, a user of the connectivity hub achieves the functionality of a full-featured connectivity base station as well as that of a small, easily transportable travel hub without having to purchase multiple units.

A charging station is provided for charging portable electronic devices. In one preferred embodiment of the invention, the charging station includes a surge protector located within the charging station. The charging station includes a base for housing the surge protector, a removable base cover that can be placed over the base and a removable tray that can be placed over the base or over the base cover if the base cover is in place over the base. If desired, the charging station can be used in a disassembled form by placing the tray on one surface and the base on another. If the charging station is used in this manner, the base cover can be placed over the base.
