A mapping system, method and computer program product are provided to apply texture, such as windows and doors, to the visual representation of a plurality of buildings. In the context of a method, images of each of a plurality of buildings are analyzed to detect building texture for one or more faces of the buildings. A representation of the building texture is spread to visual representations of one or more faces of a respective building that do not have a detected texture. The building texture may be spread from another face of the same building that has detected texture and is of a corresponding size to the face of the building without detected texture. Or, the building texture may be spread from a face of a neighboring building has a detected texture and is of a corresponding size to the face of the building without detected texture.

Mapping system and method for applying texture to visual representations of buildings

A technique for combining at least two unlike yarn ends to produce a composite yarn. One of the two unlike yarn ends is a spun yarn and the other of the two unlike yarn ends is a continuous multifilament yarn. The technique includes removing each of the two yarn ends from respective supply packages under predetermined tensions. The yarn ends are separated to maintain a predetermined included angle between the yarn ends. The separated yarn ends are then fed through an entangling jet to combine the yarn ends and collected on a take-up package. In the preferred embodiment, the included angle between the yarn ends varies between 3 and 17 degrees. The resulting air entangled yarn has an average number of 80 tacks per yard and an average loop size of 174 inch or less.

A framing layout tool facilitates the accurate and quick layout of framing marking for a structure. A bidirectional measuring scale provides a means for measuring and marking the location of any size door or window opening. Window and door marking tabs are also positioned along the main bar of the tool for obtaining markings for window and door openings of predetermined widths. A channel marker extends from the edge of the tool and is of a predetermined width corresponding to the width of the channel. The channel marker includes a central opening for use in conjunction with the outer stud markers for marking studs with spacings greater than the equidistantly spaced stud markers. A plurality of stud markers corresponding in width to a stud are spaced equidistantly along one edge of the layout tool.
