A posture improvement device, system, and method. The system for improving posture may comprise: a sensor device; posture improvement software program, comprising a posture improvement system interface; and one or more user devices. The sensor device may be physically associated with a user and may communicate with the posture improvement software program. The sensor device may comprise: one or more sensors for monitoring positions and movements of the user. The system may calculate one or more optimum postural positions for the user, based on data communicated by the sensor device and collected information about the user. The system may monitor a conformance of the user with the optimum postural positions and may display the conformance on the posture improvement system interface. The system may detect and notify the user of one or more non-conformances, such that a user is reminded to maintain at least one optimum postural position.

Posture improvement device, system, and method

A posture and breathing improvement device, system, and method. The method may include performing an activity that is created using the system. The activity may be a breathing, stretching, meditation, strength, or the like, activity. The method may comprise having the user do a breathing and movement activity simultaneously. The method may comprise leading the user though the movement activity by providing a follow the target dynamic graphic. The user's current movements may also be displayed so that the user can correct in real time any deficiencies in performing the activity. After the activity is finished, the system displays to the user how the user did and allows the user to compare this to an optimal earlier created target path.

A posture and breathing improvement device, system, and method. The system for improving posture and deep breathing may comprise: a sensor device; posture/breathing improvement software program, comprising one, both, or a combination of a posture improvement system interface and a breathing improvement system interface; and one or more user devices. The sensor device may be physically associated with a user and may communicate with the posture improvement software program. The sensor device may comprise: one or more sensors for monitoring positions and movements of the user. A dental illumination apparatus includes a lamp system mounted on a support structure. The lamp system includes a light source. A control system is provided for controlling the activation of the lamp system. A light guide shields soft tissues local to teeth of a subject from effects of ultraviolet radiation. The light guide includes a lamp attachment formation coupled to the lamp system, and a recording device in communication with the control system, the recording device including memory which stores the amount of time that the light source has been on since the beginning of a treatment procedure. A lip retractor, coupled to the light guide, is adapted to receive the lips of a patient.

Illumination system for dentistry applications

A dental illumination system includes an adjustable self-supporting frame and a lamp head coupled to the frame. The lamp head includes a housing and a spacer having formations that is adapted to removably mechanically couple the lamp head to a reference device, again having formations, for facilitating illumination of a tooth by a light source contained within the lamp head. The spacer and lamp head may be formed integrally. If formed separately, both the lamp head and the spacer may include formations.

A system and method for providing a consumer with dental services and products from a retail location, such as, for example, a local shopping mall. The dental service or product may include a teeth whitening product or service. The retail location is operated by a registered dental assistant or hygienist under supervision of a licensed off-site dentist. The dental assistant or hygienist uses an intra-oral camera and/or x-ray machine to take images of the customer's teeth and/or mouth. The images are transmitted to the off-site dentist over a data communications network. The off-site dentist evaluates the images and approves or denies a request for a particular dental service or product. If approved, the product or service is dispensed from the retail location. The off-site dentist may also recommend that the customer see a specialist. In this case, a referral to a specialist in the customer's area is made. An initial consultation with the specialist may also be conducted from the retail site, via video-conferencing technology.

System and method for providing custom fabricated products and catered dental referrals from a retail site

A dental apparatus includes a substantially longitudinal housing having a distal end, a proximal end having a tooth brush attached to it, and a tongue scraper attached to the housing. The tongue scraper can be attached to the inside or the outside of the housing. It can be fully extended during storage or in a roll form. The tooth brush can be an electric tooth brush. The tooth brush may also include a light source. The housing may also include vents along a portion thereon so that the tongue scraper may be cleaned and air dried during storage. The tongue scraper may extend outwardly from the distal end of the housing, perpendicular to the housing, or in a manner resembling a bow.

The present invention relates to a curing light suitable for curing light curable dental composite materials. The curing light device has a light module housing having at least one heat sink located therein. The heat sink has at least two mounting platforms arranged in different geometric arrangements. More than two light sources may be used, emitting at least two different wavelengths. The curing light includes at least one heat sink having various geometric shapes, which facilitate the arrangement of the light sources in the curing light and minimizing the concentration.

A dual action tongue scraper provides either a hard scrape or a soft scrape of the tongue, as desired. A hard scraping surface and a soft scraping surface are formed along at least one of the edges of a strip of flexible material. A user bends the strip of flexible material such that generally only one of the hard scraping surface and the soft scraping surface contacts the user's tongue at a given time during scraping.

A tongue scraper having a convex-shaped edge and a linear edge. The convex-shaped edge conforms to the lateral concavity of the tongue. The linear edge conforms to planar areas of the tongue. Tight gripping of the scraper is facilitated by a hole at each end intended to be pinched between the thumb and finger. In a first embodiment the scraper includes serrations on the convex and linear edges. In a second embodiment the convex and linear edges are smooth.
